Totally off topic, but about a year ago, DBF yells in, "Where'd we get this catalog?"

me: What catalog
him: (his pronunciation) Plo and Herth
me: What?
him: Plow and Herth
me: You mean Plow and (my pronunciation) Harth?
him: No -- 'herth' -- it's different.
me: It is?
him: Yes, a 'herth' is smaller.
me: What?
him: A 'herth' is smaller than a 'harth'.
At this point I cracked up laughing and he got all pissed off.

My mother referred to one of her sixth graders the other day as a "ring tailed tooter" and I about died!!!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

The title of this thread made me laugh. That's what my sister and I used to call each other when we were little.

the word that recently made me laugh was gasateria. Sounds like somewhere you would have a poofathon :rotfl:

Who's he?

That Davenport is Jack Davenport - he played Commodore Norrington in Pirates of the Carribean.

All I can say is lucky Keira Knightley - Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Jack Davenport as your 3 leading men! Heaven!

I agree! And she's not so bad, herself. LOL

I personally would've preferred Norrington over Will Turner - Will Turner is too wet behind the ears. ;)

Can't see a couple of NFL players engaging in "fisticuffs!" LOL!

I would mis-type "and" as "nad" and the spellcheck would suggest "nard." I have no idea what a "nard" is, but it makes me laugh every time.
