OK, I can't see the pictures. Can anyone else? What did I do wrong?

Nope, can't see the pics and I am TOTALLY in love with Ty. He is such a HOTTIE!

From what I remember I don't think Vern made it difficult for them to get the fish down. They don't have to feed the fish because it eats the plant. I thought it looked pretty neato. But surely the bowl will have to be cleaned I would think...but I'm pretty sure Vern made it easy to come down.

I'm with PhotobearSam, I would never let her in my house. Did you see the episode where she spray painted the HO's white furniture with magenta spray paint, then set them outside where it rained? What a mess! Or the living room where she painted the whole room black and nailed board vertically every few inches. Wow! She is out there.

My dh likes Genevieve. I like Doug. We stay in on Sat nights now!

I would let Vern decorate my place...I like most of the things he does.

I really liked the room he did for one of the Dixie Chicks.

I realize that the show is to let the designer's....design.. something unique and different. However I think it is also supposed to be functional.

I agree with Nanalisa.. OMG.. the pink/gray circus room.. HELLO HILDE.. this was a family room for people with small kids who also liked to entertain.. I am not sure that Barnum and Bailey's will be coming to their town anytime soon.. (bad joan is being sarcastic.. I have to let her out sometimes )

Frank is usually functional.. but anybody notice he does almost the same type of thing in most of his rooms??.. my dd yells at the tv.. "TAKE FRANKS LINE BRUSH AWAY FROM HIM" However I do like most of his designs.

Doug and Vern are growing on me. They both have style and flair but usually are functional too. Vern's last bedroom in silvers with the canopy and icicle lights was lovely.

Paige Davis and Amy Wynn are...well.....AWESOME...LOL. To me, Doug seems a bit stuck on himself. At least one time per episode we here the words "I'm the designer" from Doug. And if anyone opposes what he has planned he gets a bit pissy. Vern, Gen, and Frank are my favs.

Did you see the promo for next week's show? It looks like Hildi painted a mural of HERSELF on their wall. Talk about ego.

It would be kind of fun painting over it though.

The other new episode features some WUSA homeowners. I'm a big fan of both our women's and men's pro soccer leagues, so I'm really excited (major dork alert). I wonder which players it will feature?

I would definitely let the new guy, Edward, do a room in my house. So far I have really liked his work, especially the living room with the redish walls.

Thanks for the Doug photos! Many people have mistaken his "on screen" persona for his real self. (Doug likes to play "bad boy", just as Ty has been cast as the "goof" -- doesn't mean they are really like that all the time).

This weekend's Episodes feature Hilda (the mural), Kia (a new designer -- she does a hanging bed), and Frank. You can catch them on Saturday night at 8 & 9 pm (and then again at 11 & midnight) or Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons at 4.

MeanLaureen...I've got to agree that Edward really does some nice stuff and really listens to what the HOs want. Maybe it's' because he worked on the show behind the scenes prior to becoming an on screen designer.

Huge Trading Spaces fan here! I rearely miss an episode. I watch the reruns every afternoon, even if I've seen the epsiode a million times!

I agree with Lauri--I really like Edward. I also would let Laurie do a room in my house too. She's kind of a nutcase, but her rooms are usually beautiful. Vern also does a nice job, but he is extremely structured.

Hildi and Gen wouldn't be allowed near my house. Doug is a wild card though, he has some good rooms and some bad rooms.
