STUPID things you've done lately

a stupid thing a did not long ago was exclaim "I can't find my cell phone!"
as I was talking on my cell phone.

This isn't exactly recently but last winter, during a severe cold snap I went out to my car to go to work and it wouldn't start. I assumed, because my car sits outside, that the cold weather had effected the battery. It was too cold to consider taking the bus and I just decided to call in to work and take the day off.

That evening when DH got home, I explained my situation and suggested he go out and jump the car. So out he goes, comes back like 10 seconds later with the car idling out in the driveway and says, "Ummmm honey it helps if you have the car in park when you start it up."

The other day I was at a little ice cream shop where they serve some other snacky things like pretzles.. I got my chocolate ice cream with rainbow sprinkles and my sister was waiting for her's and looks at the bowl with mustard packets sitting on the counter next to the napkins.. I was .. I said, "Why is mustard in an ice cream shop.. EW! Do people actually add mustard to their ice cream? To they use it like a topping like chocolate.. like a mustard sunday or something?" then my sister very kindly took my chin and turned my head to the soft pretzle machine not even 2 feet away from me

Mmm Mustard Sunday, doesn't that sound good
