stupid question re: room service

Ok - I've just started reading these boards again as I get ready to make plans to go back to WDW - do they have room service available at the vacation club resorts?

That is actually a very good question. I believe VWL does, as we asked about that before purchase. Iwould imagine they all do, but not certain.

OKW does not have room service, but VWL, BCV, and BWV have the same room service as their sister hotel guests have.

I think all OKW has is pizza delivery from PO, salads and drinks are available from them, also. Otherwise, there is a snack bar window behind Olivia's.

They took the pizza menus out of the rooms at OKW. We called the front desk to get the number and they asked us which pizza place we wanted - Dominos, Pizza Hut, etc, - but no Sassagoula Pizza Express. I asked for that number and they gave it to me. I tried calling it several times, but always got a busy signal. Never got through to them.

At BWV you can order anything off of the menus from any of the Boardwalk restaurants from room service. The room service menu lists several items from the different restaurants but if you do not see anything you like you can just call room service and they will get you whatever you want from any of the boardwalk restaurants. We did this in Dec, it was great!
