Stupid Question of the Day. YOMD related

I just realized that you can enter the YOMD sweepstakes by sending a postcard. (I'm sure this is old news for ya'll!) One entry per day. Right?

In the rules it says to send a 3.5" X 5" poscard.

I thought I would save time (and money) by just sending the info on an index card. Only it measures 3X5. I have some other postcards.... but they are
5.25" X 4".

So... now for the stupidest question of the day..... and trust me... I feel really silly asking......

Will my entry be disqualified for not sending in the proper sized post card?

If it's like other contests, the answer is YES. This is one way they weed out the entries. If you don't follow the instructions exactly, you're out.

Where do you send the postcards? what info do you need to put on them? Does any one know what kind or how many prizes they are giving away for postcard entries?

You could try, but they might come back to you.

3.5 x 5 is the smallest sized postcard the USPS will deliver. A 3x5 might get returned to you or never make it to it's destination.

Yeah, it's only half an inch, but they've got to draw the line somewhere.
