Stupid question about shirts

We wear our Steelers clothes AND bring our Terrible Towel for photos! We have met so many other Steelers fans while pulling out the Towel or wearing our shirts. The Steelers Nation is everywhere! :cheer2:

For our last trip (surprise), I had shirts made that said "We came to Florida and all I got was this lousy T shirt..." and on the back "And a surprise trip to Disney World!" with the year and a Mickey head. For the upcoming trip I am making ones that say "Fooled me once...Disney World 2011 Fool me twice...Disney World 2013."

That's fantastic!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing... Made me smile :)

Before my cruise last summer I had asked about family matching closed and got bashed for it. Lots of negative comments. Funny the difference in the two boards.

My wife refers to gathering our clothes for a Disney vacation as 'packing for summer camp.':upsidedow

The first few trips we made to Disney we purchased more than our fair share of Disney wear - which we supplement with trips to both outlet and upscale shopping malls.:laundy:

We always shop for shoes and break them in around our typical 8-9 day Disney vacations - which we seem to take about every 6 months.:beach:

We still wear our custom colored sneakers.

Some folks may find it geeky, but I enjoy seeing families in coordinating and/or with matching clothing. The larger the family, the bigger my smile.:thumbsup2

Therefore, and disregarding my NY roots, enjoy wearing your Red Sox t-shirts.

As my mother would have said, "Anything to keep my family together.":dance3:

Karen, I know what you mean! I'm the OP. I had once started a thread about the controversial "ropedrop" and recvd not many but a few tough comments. And that's ok. But, then a few days later someone else started a whole other thread where comments were so different. I dislike negative comments/feedback. I like honest opinions good or bad but nothing that bashes charecter. :) :)

Awesome!!!!!! We will be there May26-June2cnd! I started the thread to see if any others rather than wear disney t's would wear hometown ones. I love the responses ppl have been giving! Sharing their creative ideas. I saw in disney store some sale t's one had the female disney villians and I'm going to snatch one up for myself. Have fun on ur trip.... About a month!

My sister and I always wear matching clothes on one day. I make us 'Sisters Trip" t-shirts every year with the year on them. One year I made the mistake of painting 'Sister's' instead of 'Sisters,' and the CM running Spaceship Earth asked us if we were nuns. I said no and that we were from Philadelphia. Whereupon he turned to another CM and said "They're from Philly so they ain't nuns!"

On our last trip over St. Patrick's Day, we met a family who was wearing St. Patrick's Day shirts. They didn't all match, but they looked great. The DM said she had gotten some at Old Navy, one at Target and one on-line.

My DS wore wore a lot of Buckeye gear, and he had a lot of comments of "O-H" to which he responded appropriately with "I-O". His Montreal Expos hat also garnered a lot of comments.

That's fantastic!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing... Made me smile :)

:goodvibes

Oh, and a great DIS'er made designs for the adults as well. The front said "Just goofin' off with our kids" with goofy (tshirts for the men, tanks for the women) and "The Morrows take Disney 2011" on the back with a bunch of Disney characters. The kids wore their shirts every day except the last day (we had a washer/dryer in the room of the place we were staying) but the adults only wore ours the first day.

Trying to figure out if I should buy matching tshirts. It's myself Twin boys 13 & ds9. I don't think they will be interested in character tshirts. Was going to do matching colors. We all have Red Sox Tshirts... Anyone ever sport tshirts from there home city in WDW?!?! Just curious.....(never even thought if it until I saw a post here about families matching) :)
Yes, I wear "hometown" t-shirts all the time. I have a 13-year old girl and her 13-year old male friends would probably rather die than be matchy-matchy with the rest of the family.

Fun, cool comments!!!!! I'm loving the ideas :) thanks everyone for sharing!!!!!!!!! Making my workday go by faster too :)

We wear something that usually coordinates every day. Sometimes same shirt different color, same character, or custom shirts. Makes for great photos and we've gotten extra attention from characters in parades.

Etsy.com has tons of great shirt ideas for matching shirts. Some of the crafters will create very custom shirts to fit your needs.

I think hometown shirts are great because it gives people around you a possible connection to you. We are from Louisville, KY and last trip DH had on a University of Louisville tee and a couple people walked by him and said "Go Cards" - that was neat.

When I went with my mom and sis we had shirts made in the Disney Font - mine and sis's said "Heigh-Ho" on the front and Mom's said "It's off to Disney we go."

I wore a Red Sox shirt the day we went to Universal this past February. I swear everyone i saw who was wearing a sports team shirt was wearing something from a New England team (minus one lone ravens fan, poor dude). I even had a IoA ride attendant yell "GO SOX" :lmao: that was funny.

for this next trip, I had matching shirts made with my friends for our princess half marathon costume. on the front it says "pirate princess" and on the back it says "getting to the rum before its gone" with Jack sparrow in a tutu and a tiara running away from the cannibals. My mom and aunt loved them so much, we ordered them each one, so they're going to be our costumes for MNSSHP this October!

We always sport our Ohio State gear at the parks. We're huge fans and get yells of "O-H! " a lot at the parks
O-H-I-O!!!

Wow! That's fantastic... I'm glad I asked. Love all the stories and gotta love our New England teams!!!
