Stupid postcard question

Okay, so I bought the postcards at the post office to have to send in for the YOMD contest. They have been sitting at home, finally decided to fill them out today. They say 26 in the top right hand corner (where the stamp should go) does that mean the postage is already paid on them?

if there is a picture of a pineapple or something with the 26 then yes it is postage paid, however postage for postcards has gone up to 27 cents so you will need to add a 1 cent stamp.
