Stupid me... Forgot to submit order for PP+

I'm a planner. I love planning WDW trips, and have one central spreadsheet to check everything off along the way. This morning I was doing some final checks and realized I hadn't gotten my PP+ voucher, so I logged in to see what was up. And there it was, sitting in my cart :mad:

My guess is that I had the preorder ready to go, but for some reason I must have gotten distracted and not submitted it. I remember entering my CC info & shipping info because there is a warning about not using our PO box.

I went ahead and placed the order anyway. If it doesn't come by Saturday, then I'll return this one and buy the full price one when we arrive. I just hate wasting money!!!!!!!!

When you pre-order you actually only get a voucher which then has to be exchanged at Guest Services for the actual card to be used.

Yes, because it is a special PP card that you need in order to get the ride photos added to it!
 
Instead of doing full price in person, if you can swing it, you can add PP+ to your package over the phone up to 3 days before arrival and it will be at the front desk. You get the discounted price so you could return the one that's shipping out to you AND get the prepay price.
 
I ordered mine the beginning of last week ( we leave next weekend) and I was told I would get the voucher at check in? are you not staying on-site?

Does anyone know which mean photo packages can be included on PP+? I cant find a list anywhere on the web site. Thanks.

The owner of the points would have to call... I'd imagine they can add it to a RO on points.

I believe that instead of canceling you can return the cd with voucher intact for a refund, but you may want to verify that with PP+. Since most people don't need to do it I've only seen it mentioned once or twice.
 
Uggg! OK, the voucher didn't arrive today and (correct me if I'm wrong) it's coming via UPS so no way it's arriving tomorrow. DSIL tried calling to add it on to her DVC ressie, but DVC told her it had to be done through the Photopass site, and it's down. Also, the pre-order price she was quoted was $169, not the $149 I paid.

Questions:

1. Did DSIL get bad info from the DVC CM? If so, what do I need to tell her to tell them?

2. Since DH is not going, and assuming the one I ordered arrives on Monday, can he call or text me the voucher number when it arrives so we can set it up?

I spent 45 minutes on the phone with the Photopass Tech support, and they were SOOOOO nice, but upshot is if my voucher doesn't come tomorrow (please USPS!!!) then I will be paying full price (our flight is @ 7:20 am so no way to get Monday mail).

The DVC pre-order would work except that it's 3 BUSINESS days, so I wouldn't get it until Wednesday, and would miss at least 1 character meal photo package, plus all the ride pics from our first 2 days in the parks.

Oh well, live and learn. The truth is that without the DIS, I not only wouldn't have known about the pre-order option, I probably wouldn't know 1/10th of the ways I've saved money on/for this trip and others.
