stupid Jetblue!!!

OK they must be loading a little at a time. I just receved the EMail from JB that flights are ready to be booked. When I click thru the email I am able to find flights from San Juan to Newark on Sunday Nov 13th. post cruise.

Glad people are getting flights booked!! Finally.

Mine came up, but too high for me. I'll sit this one out until I find a better rate. $200 one way from mco to bwi is too high.

Also, I can't get the app to work.

LoL, I finally got a hold of a supervisor after being on the phone for an hour or so..I got disconnected the 1st time then had to call back only to be put on hold AGAIN...So finally when I called again this nice lady tried to help me, in the meantime while we were waiting for a Supv...

I explained that we could've booked $300 flights on Kayak a month ago but wanted to wait for our fav. Airline ( Jetblue ) she assited us, and literally the Friday the 4th of Nov. prices one way were $269 from NEWARK....And returning the following Sat. was the same....
After a few more tries, she comes back to us and says, " heres what I'm going to do. When do you want to leave on Friday, We say after school , preferably around dinnertime 6 ish.. And when to return, And I stated later on Saturday..
She comes back w/ a 644 pm flight going & a 755 returning.... All for $294.88 w/ bags paid......Talk about pixiedust:...

For those that haven't got there flights yet, hang in there folks. Persistence pays off.....

Dates we are looking for are similar but only for 5 days. Do you think I would do better calling? Flying out of LGA or JFK is cheaper, but more of a hassle.:sad2:

I would call, and tell them you've been trying for hours.....I'm usually forced to leave out of JFK or LGA because it's always cheaper than EWR, but I was so upset about all the nonsense that the website was causing, & she could see how upset me & my neighbor were, that she took it upon herself to give us a great deal, & out of Newark to boot.

I've seen them open with high prices like this before, then after a couple weeks the prices get better. I'm flexible, so can wait. Good luck.

I wasn't aware they could discount the flights when you talk to someone. Wow, wonder how she could do that?

I wasn't expecting a round trip fare below $250 (that would have been great), and anything around $300 was fine. That's what I got...the days and times I wanted. The fares might go down a bit, but probably not enough to make me regret booking now.

Keep in mind that they still offer a credit within 14 days of purchase.

Yeah the prices were on the high side, but I bit the bullet and booked anyway. I checked today and flights I booked went up in price. I'll check and get a credit if it goes down in the next two weeks.

Does the price have to go down by a minimum of $75 in order to get a credit? I thought JetBlue changed getting a credit only if it was $75 or more?

In the first 14 days, regardless of which fare you purchased, you'll get the credit. After that, then yes you'll have to pay, depending on which you picked....I choose Blue plus ( so I prepaid $15 for my baggage )& if I wanted to change it after the 14 days it would only cost $60, I believe it's more if you chose just the standard Blue fare..

I wasn't either...LoL But I kept harping on how we've been waiting and waiting, and I can still get AA flights or Delta flights for like $320 & she ( A Manager/Supervisor came back to us with whatever flights we wanted and times & gave us that price.
