OK we have not cruised since the sodas are free, my question is how big are the cups at the beverage station? Are they the same size as before? Should we bring larger cups with us that can be thrown away easily?

Thanks
Dan

excellent question. i'm curious about this too. i just figured that they'd be like a small mc donald's size cup.

They're 12 oz. cups.
You can bring your own cups if you wanted to. We picked up a couple of 32 oz. cups at a local gas station before boarding.

They have hot/cold mugs for $3 with the ship on them like the ones you buy at WDW in the food courts for the unlimited soda. A useful and inexpensive souvenier.

Hey Scott and Dan! We are going to be on the same cruise. We had met on our first cruise in 2001! I am going to take our cups from our previous cruises to fill at the soda station, but I guess if you didn't want to carry that around all the time, disposable would probably be better.

OK for the life of me I can not remember your name-I can remember everything else but that-LOL Are you going down early? Eating at Jungle Jims? (See I do remember)

Hope to see you!

Dan

That's ok.....I'm usually not good with names either, but for the record it's Allison. No time for Jungle Jim's. Hubby isn't happy, but maybe we can squeeze it in on our way home!

There is no such thing as a "stupid drink question"

:p

Actually, they are 16 oz. Walt Disney World paper cups. Basically, a "small" soda if you were purchasing at a fast food place at WDW. What I founf unusual is that there is a sign at the station telling you to use a lid, something to the tune of, "Please make sure you use a lid." That way, it helps to not spread diseases by spilling sodas.

They ask you to use a lid to prevent spills on the deck and the potential slips and falls that those spills might cause. The lids do not help prevent the spread of diseases (well, that is unless the kid behind you in line sneezes into your cup!)
