Sorry for this question because I know it's been asked before but I've only arrived after check-in time. You can get your room keys (park tickets) prior to check in time if you are arriving early morning correct? I'm assuming you just can't go to your room if it's not ready. I was talking to a CM who said something that confused me the other day. My flight was changed to an earlier arrival and she said something about me being able to check out the hotel or go down to DTD with my extra time. I thought about it after I got off the phone...why would those be my only options...I'm going to be able to get into the parks right???? HELP!

Yes you can get your room key/park ticket card before your room is ready (just did this last week).

Have fun!

The only time you'd have a problem would be if you arrived really early. The CM's can't give you a room key to your room until the people who are occupying it haven't checked out yet. And then it would only be a problem if the hotel was really crowded and they couldn't transfer you to an open room, rather than the one assigned to you.

Basically, you can check in early, and the CM will give you a room key, but it won't be assigned to a particular room at that time. You can use that key, if you chose to get the MYW tickets put on your room key, to enter the parks. They can assign your room number to that key without you having to go back to the desk, if you wanted to call them and ask what room you were assigned later.

cool...this question also helped me out too! Thanks!!!

I've arrived as early as 9am and got into a room. So for as many things as Disney says "no" to this is one thing that they say "yes" to! Unless of course, it is filled or whatever and you're not picky about which room you get.

Our room was not ready in July when we checked in but we were given a room key. We had to call later to find out the room #.

That is what we did last time.
We got our key.
Then we went to the parks and called after 3 pm to get our room #'s.
When we returned that night our rooms were ready for us.
WE never went back to front desk the rest of our stay.
