Stupid campfire question

We are staying at the cabins this weekend and my sister and I are planning on taking our kids to the campfire with Chip and Dale. We'll have our own s'more fixings, but want to know if we will be able to just use regular sticks to do the marshmallows, or if there are safety rules that require a certain type of stick.

Don’t know if there is an official policy on roasting sticks but I have seen just about all kinds being used. They do sell the wood dowels at the chuck wagon for .35 each. For my money its worth it to just buy the ones there use them and then just through them in the fire so there is no sticky mess to deal with.

We bring our own sticks - never been stopped (just don't poke anybody's eye out ).

IMO the sticks they sell are too short anyway. I enjoy sending the kids out into our campground to find just the right stick. We also took some hot dogs, buns, and extra little packets of ketchup/mustard on a second night (new sticks, if you must know). A sing-along-dog tastes better at FW than it does at home!

For supporting their sticky sugar balls, my kids have used dowels, kabob skewers, sticks, ten-penny nail kinda situations and even their own fingers (ok, those marshmallows weren't very 'well done').
