Stupid and silly question: how to keep NERDS candy fresh?

So.... I bought a giant box of NERDS to take with me to a hockey game last weekend. I didn't eat many of them, so I brought them home and have been slowly eating them over the past two days. (I kept them in a plastic bag.) But this morning I got my braces tightened (UGH!) and my teeth will hurt waaay too bad to eat NERDS for at least a week. What can I do to keep them fresh and crunchy? Here in Florida everything gets stale within about 2 hours-3 days... and I don't want to throw away my NERDS. Can I freeze them?

This may sound silly, but I really love my NERDS!

(plus the fact that a certain mom of mine will be mad if I waste them...)

Try putting them in the fridge until you're ready to eat them.

Thanks, all. They're going to hang out in the fridge for a week or so. Then I can get back to them; they think they're safe! LOL!
