Stupid ??? about postage - hurry

You can tell I haven't mailed anything in quite awhile. I have a rol of stamps that doesn't have any amount on the stamps. It has an American Flag and a date. Due to old age I cannot make out the teeny, tiny date.

It's raining cats and dogs and I don't want to get out my car and go inside the P.O. Can someone tell me what the current stamps look like??? Please.

Unfortunately there are some that have flags on them now too. I'm sorry I can't help you. Call the post office and tell them what you have and maybe by the description they can help you.

Thanks, I couldn't get through to P.O. and had to pick up DS. It's still raining and I'm sick so I put two stamps on and dropped it in the P.O. mailbox.

If you are still too sick to go to the P.O. in the next few days, try going to the website and looking it up. They may have a link now to past stamps. Good luck. Of course if I were right there I could tell you.....

I know this may seem like a waste, but I would put two stamps on my letter and not worry about the postage.
