Stumped on a trade... what to do...?!?!?!

I made a TA with someone on pinpics... they responded with a yes but didn't send their address...

I wrote back saying cool, send your address...

They just sent their pin... I never got their address!
I still have their pin waiting to be addressed... but I could get the address off their envelope!

however, over the weekend, I receive their pin... damaged cloisonne, scratches where the movable parts have repeatedly
moved over the cloisonne... bubbles and cracks in it... most of the damage being human caused, not in the manufacturing process (I can spot those flaws and wouldn't ever complain about them)

and it is a HTF LE from WDW 2002...

what do I do...?

send their pin and forget it?
contact them about the condition?
send their pin back to them and keep mine?
contact a pinpics mod?

I've dealt with this before, with pins in bad condition, but they have usually been just rack pins that I don't mention... and made it out to be a newbie or whatever! but this being an LE I've searched long and hard for... and a PLUTO pin no less... I'm besides myself as to what to do...

I for one, would never ever trade a pin in this bad of shape!

I would at least mention the damages to them.
If I mailed a damaged pin unknowingly, I would want to hear from the person direct.
And keeping it would depend on how badly I wanted it, what my chances would be to trade for it again, what I traded to get it, etc.
Go with your gut feeling.

It was a pin on pin plus slider...
the only portion of the pin that
is good is the Pluto pin on pin part!
