"Stuff" Transfer for Split Stay?

In 3 short days we'll be at AKL, and in 7 short days we'll be transferring to Poly for 4 more nights. I have read it is very easy to transfer luggage between resorts for split stays... couple questions for experienced splitsters:

- Do we need to take all our items for transfer to Bell Services upon checking out of the first hotel? Or will Bell Services retrieve from our room?

- How do you transfer grocery items or cases of water? Pack them in a box and label with your name and next location? We won't have a lot, but ordered PBJ makings and some snacks for the kids. I suppose much of it could fit in our luggage if necessary.

And we will be sure to tip on both ends of course.

2. Either one, again. Your choice. I'd at least put them in a bag or something so they aren't loose items. Labeling isn't needed, Bell Services labels everything.

It is very easy. Most every time we call them. But sometimes we grab bags and take them to bell services ourselves.
They'll give you a ticket just like the one you get when you leave bags with them a checkin/out

We just did it from Swan to AKL. Easy peasy. We took our bags down on the way out to rope drop to insure that everything was on the cart. When we got to AKL, we called from our room and our bags were there in 5 minutes.

I would take Uber with my luggage to Poly, check-in, leave bags at Bell Services, head to the parks.

One thing to keep in mind is you won't get your bags until late afternoon. We got ours around 4ish. It wasn't a huge deal but for our next trip I'm most likely going to Uber it to our next resort. We like to do midday breaks by the pool so having our bags would be helpful.

Considering Minnie Van actually - but it is going to depend on how well we can pack up the groceries too. I don't feel like schlepping our stuff if I don't have to.

Thank you! We plan on being at HS until at least 4pm, so won't get to Poly until 5 or later.

If you call Bell Service they will come to your room to pick up bags. We pack a couple of reusable grocery bags with us and use those for food. 2, because you have to separate what foods need refrigeration.
You should expect your luggage etc to be delivered to new resort after 3pm.

For this reason I take a taxi (Or uber) to new resort with my luggage, early morning. Do early check in and leave my stuff with Bell Service. This way I know my things will be there when I want them. And sometimes our room has been ready early!
