Stuff disappearing from ShopDisney??

Is it just me or are various brands disappearing from ShopDisney? Pandora beads, VeraBradley, Dooney, DisneyAnimatorsCollection... all have only a handful of things on the site now. Are they really cutting back on stock?

It might be that ShopDisney's site and the Disney Store might be adding new items and are discontinuing brands to make room for the new items so they are gonna put the items on clearance soon. Like the Disney Animators Collection Dolls might be on clearance fast because a lot of Disney fans collect those dolls and they probably will continue the line. But the stuff that mainly disappears is mainly the seasonal items like for Christmas and Valentine's Day and more. So I think they are making room for new brands and lines that are coming soon in the future. But you know what would sell is the Disney Thomas Kinkade artwork

It's been this way for awhile. They hardly keep any stock lately.

My advice is to buy it ASAP if it's something you really want.

I think they limit what is available online. The parks and on property shops have much more product and selection. I wish they would offer it all online. Our last trip, we bought two additional suitcases to bring merchandise home, but it was also 30% off.

Disney warehouses seem to have been having trouble with their inventory system for years now, but the pandemic and the merchpass bits really highlighted how bad it is. New products get put up right away, but when items go out of stock they often don't have a clue how many are really sitting in the warehouse until someone goes through and finds/remedies the situation.

Example: Starbucks mugs. As of this moment they don't have any on the site. During the pandemic not only did they have all the mugs, but they had ones from years past up there too. Inventory would be sold out, but by the next week a few would be in stock. Returns? Perhaps, but it happens on the hottest ticket items. There's a problem they need to track down and fix.

My bet is right now the warehouse is sitting on no less than 20 starbucks mugs (or ornaments). Not that I want them, it's just interesting to see them as a group come and go.

What is this Rhode Mickey ears you speak of? Does one ear have a dangling lobe with a huge number of heavy earrings on it? eta: looked it up... I know what they look like now (explorer)

Speaking of ears... Disney needs to have a create your own setup. Buy the accessories to make our own ears. Enough with the pre-made uncomfortable ones.
