Studios on EE day?

I had planned to go to the Studios on EE day so DH could ride TOT and RnR and depending on crowds either stay to do everything else or move on and come back the next day. That has changed because I got Cindy's reservations for that morning.

We are going the last week of April. Does anyone have any opinions on how EE will impact crowds at the Studios? We would probably arrive around noon and will stay until after Fantasmic. Our only other option is to arrive around the same time on a non Studios EE day.

Thoughts?

If arriving at Noon is your only option, then choose the non-EE day. Even better if it's the day after Studio's EE day - a lot of people have already visited that park the day before.

I wouldn't recommend going to any park on an EMH(EE) day. Avoid at all costs if you're not staying onsite AND taking advantage of it or arrive before the official opening time and take your chances. A noon arrival is not a good idea.

I would try to change your schedule so that you arrived at each park about 20 min prior to opening whether it is an EE or not. You will probably have the most success this way. Good Luck!

on any day or just an EE day?

Any day. Going to the park at noon is a waste. If you want to go to MGM later in the day, wait until at least 4 or so...thats when folks begin to leave because they've experienced all the attractions they planned on. But a noon arrival is a waste of money IMHO.

I respectfully disagree with the poster regarding entering at noon as a waste of money.;) We have entered the park midday with the intention of staying through closing. When we've done it on a non-EE day, it has usually worked out fine. If you are flexible with which attractions you want to do, and use Fastpass, you should do well. If you are not doing Fantasmic, you will notice the park begins to seem less crowded after the afternoon parade. It seems to be a blend of people leaving after the parade, people eating dinner, and people waiting in line for/attending Fantasmic. HTH!

I agree with the people about not going at noon. We have been going to WDW since MGM open. We usually always get there when it opens or do EE when we stay on site. By noon it gets very crowed and the lines get long.
