Not good. In the past, we've stayed in studios and always have done a day-by-day at 11 months during the Summer months. I think at 7 months out, the chances are pretty poor. Same goes for 1 BR's. You have a much better chance with 2 BR's.

To add to that, 16 of the 21 studios are in the main lodge, with the other 5 being on the first floor of 5 buildings-16, 18, 28, 30, and either 19 or 31 (I don't remember which). I don't know about the other ones, but the one in Building 28 is under a GV, which for some reason makes it pretty noisy from people walking above you. That's one reason we always request the main lodge-if you want a top floor studio, no one above you, you have to take the main lodge.

All 5 studios/1BRs that are not in the main lodge are under Grand Villas.

The biggest drawback of the HH resort, IMHO is the lack of soundproofing. We always get a 2BR and request first floor, because we REALLY move in and don't want to have to schlep all our stuff up an extra flight of stairs. Sometimes we're lucky, but mostly it seems like we have baby elephants in the room above us.

That being said, we absolutely love the resort! When relaxing in the room, our preference is out on the porch, and it seems the elephants don't usually like the porch as much.
