Okay, I need some help here...

Looks like I am gonna get to WDW this year after all...on a princess: Pilgrimage with my Dsis and Dniece...maybe adding another niece and great-niece, but probability of that is really low, so my question is about the DVC studios...I know they are big enough for 3, but Dniece isn't thrilled about sharing a bed with her mom. I was looking in the member handbook and it looks like the BWV have a daybed...can anyone confirm this? Then of the other studios, which ones do all of you experts think a twin aerobed would fit? I've only stayed in a studio at OKW and I don't see one fitting easily in there, but the others (from the photos I've seen) look do-able...can anyone give me some info about this?...logistics? Any studio better than the other for doing this?

Thanks! I'm trying to conserve some points...and since it's just going to be 3 and we're not wanting to do any cooking a studio is best.

What about staying at OKW? Their studios have two queen beds.

Actually it is my first choice because it's the lowest points...but I noticed the BWV had a daybed in the floorplan in the handbook. I don't know what will even be available since it's less than 7 months out...so we'll see. But the whole thing is that if I can chose one that would fit an aerobed so my Dniece doesn't have to share with her mom, then I'd be a nice aunt and do it. So, that is why I'm asking...do the BWV really have a daybed in the studios? Or which DVC studios can accomodate an aerobed?

Thanks again!

Hi Laura,

I stayed at the BWV preferred view last Dec for a couple of nights. Our roon had a daybed but unless your niece is really small, it would be hard to sleep in one. I do think that a twin aerobed would fit if on person slept on the couch, unfolded and the other parallel on the floor next to the couch. Hope that helps.

No way to guarantee the day bed so can't count on that option. Plus, it's only small enough for a small child, maybe 6-7 at the outside.

Aerobeds will fit in OKW studio. (done that) and there are the two queen beds. BWV studios are smaller. not sure you could make it work as well unless you did get the daybed. Don't think it can be guarenteed you'd get it. Do you want the location of BWV instead of OKW?

Friends have stayed at OKW and BWV with twin aero bed in studio and had no problem.

Wow! Thanks for all the quick replies...really needed them today! So, from what ya'll are saying BWV and a daybed isn't gonna be an option since Dniece is 11, but the aerobed MIGHT work elsewhere. OKW is my first choice because it's the lowest points and it has the 2 queen beds, so if Dniece ends up sharing it's bigger. I've thought of going with a 1BR, but, I'll admit it...I'm being cheap! I told Dsis that I would use some points and she could help pick up the slack...I was thinking maybe pay for my ticket or airfare....but she is thinking about staying at the GF the first 2 nights since I told her I'd rather pay OOP for a room instead of using the points for a Friday/Saturday night stay....oh, brother! I'm trying to be frugal on this trip since my family is already going to DL in June on our points and I'd like to save a few to bank for next year...but we'll see.

Anyway, thanks for the info! I really appreciate it!

It's not really a daybed. It's more of a 5 ft deacons bench with a 2 inch cushion. My little ones (when they were actually little) didn't like it. We have brought an aerobed and it fits fine in a BWV studio.

Best wishes!

I measured the "daybed" at BWV when we were there in January. It was 24 1/2" wide by 58" long. It is very narrow and even with a small child, I would be afraid they would roll off. An 11 year old would not fit. I would go with OKW for the 2 queen sized regular beds for you and sis and the aerobed for niece.
