Is a studio tour worth doing in June? Someone told me that there is no production in the summer months so would a tour be a waste of time? Also, if we do one anyway, which one is recommended?

Studio tours do not allow you on set during production, but a few do allow you to walk on the sets when there is no actual production. So in a way, going when the cameras aren't rolling can be better.

Of course, if your goal is to maybe, just maybe, catch a glimpse of a star, then going when TV shows aren't shooting might not be the best option. But there are movies being shot in June.

I went in July a couple of years ago on a Warner Bros tour and there was something being filmed there. It was my first time seeing an actor live and up close. I have no idea who he was, the tour guy told us and I forget (not Brad Pitt) but the whole tour was very impressive and the highlight of my trip!
