Is there a can opener? A DF wants to bring canned tuna and wonders if an opener is available.

Thanks,
Bobbi

In the vacation planner it specifically lists one in the one bedroom and above and does not list one in the studios. I would think you could ask mousekeeping for one or just throw one in the luggage. I keep a cork screw in one of my pieces of luggage but never thought about a can opener. I used to have one that was quite small and lightweight and will have to see if it is still around.

OK...thanks...I just checked and my pen knife does have one of the blades for opening...so if that's what we have to use, we'll figure it out. I like to make fruit salad, so I do always bring the knife and a cutting board when we stay in a studio.

I remember having a can opener during my many studio stays. :)

Can opener and corkscrew.

Can you buy tuna with a pop-top lid?

I can, but I'm not sure my DGF would. She's very cost conscious and I think the pop offs cost more. I don't really know. I'm not a "tuna by the can" eater. I would have to have other ingredients to make a salad. Yes, the things that I would buy have pop off lids, like Chunky soups.:goodvibes

we've had a can-opener in every one of our many studio stays (without requesting one).

hth:)

OK...We're set. It's funny, I'm so used to my electric can opener that when it comes to the hand held ones, (never mind ones that are in a swiss army knife) I'm totally at a loss. Thank you all!!!

We've had such poor luck with electric can openers we've gone back to the manual type. They really make good ones these days.
