Studio rooms

Hi Gang,

What are the studio rooms like at DVC Wilderness Lodge Villas? We're thinking about a DVC resale and would like something with 250-270 points at Wilderness Lodge. However, we may have to settle for a slightly smaller package since nothing of this size is currently available. We usually come to DW twice a year and are wondering what the studio rooms are like. Would appreciate any information anyone could provide.

The Studio rooms are slightly larger than standard resort rooms at WL. The biggest difference is that they include is the kitchenette.

Small refrigerator
Microwave
Toaster (or you can ask for one...not sure if standard)

Also, they are configured with a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa. So during the day, you get a lot more room if you fold up the sleeper bed, making the room seem much larger.

They are themed and decorated very similarly to the WL resort rooms, if you're familiar with those.

This is a small thing but, we noticed that the VWL had the standard 10 cup coffee pots, where everywhere else we stayed only had the little 4 cuppers.

Studios at VWL also have more drawers in the kitchenette and more drawers/shelves in the vanity area. I like that a LOT!!!!

So far we've stayed in studios at VWL, OKW and BCV-- OKW has more floor space, but I liked having more drawers and shelf space at VWL.

I think it's just the luck of the draw on that. I've stayed in the studios at all 4 (Woops, not at SSR) DVC resorts, and the only time I got a 4 cupper was at VWL. If you do, and want a full-size, now I know you can call down and get one.
