How can I get a ressie for a studio plus at BWV? I want to take a commando type trip, and will not be around the resort to use a full kitchen, dont feel like lugging an air bed, but my 2 sons do not like sleeping together.

Is there anything that can be done to improve your chances of getting the studio plus?

Thanks Felicia

Have it as a first request when you call to reserve and reserve 11 months out. That will give you more chance than otherwise although they are likely to give priority for those to persons with 5 in their group. Don't know the sizes of your kids but understand that daybed is small and likely will not hold any one over 11 comfortably.

The studio plus rooms are no longer guaranteed. Making the reservation and request at 11 months out would be a start. Having 5 listed would help as well.

Very helpful info thankyou.

I was wondering what would happen if I request a studio plus, have 5 people listed, and they can only get me a reg. studio.

Do they make you upgrade to a 1 br? what if you only had the studio points available. Or do they bring you a cot?

No cot and they will not make you upgrade to a 1 BR if you have a reservation that lists 5. They are usually pretty flexible with the occupancy limits but you may need to have someone sleep on the floor, maybe on an air mattress.

Dean,

Thanks so much for the helpful feedback! Ive come to the conclusion a back up air mattress will be essential.

Sincerely Felicia

I love my child too much to make him sleep on the daybed in a studio plus. No, I take that back; we did have one of these rooms a few years back and he did try to sleep on the daybed. It was horrible and he hated it. I think he was 6. Any older and he would have been too big.

It's more like a small deacon's bench with a little bit of padding; nothing at all like a bed.

By the way, a one bedroom only sleeps 4 as well. You would have to get a two bedroom that sleeps 8 if you had five persons with none of them under 3 yrs of age.
