Studio M

Does anyone happen to know if Studio M is still open at Downtown Disney? I had read somewhere that it had closed?

We had a family picture taken there with the Mouse back in January 2003, so at least at that point it was still operating.

I've heard that it's gone. I don't know this for sure. I hate it that they were taking it away. It's the place that I got to finally meet Mickey Mouse for the first time. Mickey

I had heard it was gone too! I was hoping to get a family portait there.

DH and I stopped at the Marketplace earlier this month, and Studio M is definitely gone. They now have something called "Wonderful World of Memories - Capture the memories of a lifetime with photo albums, stationery and scrapbooking." This is the description from the guide map. We did not go in, although now that I read this it sounds kinda cool.

The scrapbooking shop was a disappointment. It was basically just a collection of a few types of stickers, and papers, etc. that you can get in other shops as well. It sure doesn't compare with the shop we have here at home. I wish they would find another spot for Studio Mickey. I really wanted a family picture, too!
