Studio M at Downtown Disney

I'm having a hard time finding info on Studio M. I'd like to get some pictures taken for my daughter's 4th birthday during our trip in May. Has anyone gone there? What is it like? How is the pricing? Do I need an appointment? Any information would be much appreciated.

I think Studio M is gone now. You could get a nice picture done in Animal Kingdom at the character greeting trails, we find the lines shorter there. Or try in Mickeys Toontown in Magic Kingdom. They have photographers who take the picture for you.

Studio M is gone. They have photographers at many of the meet and greet areas. In Mickey Toontown Fair the pictures are now available right after you have them taken and you don't have to go all the way to the front of the park, you can get them right in the toontwon hall of fame tent. I think the prices are between $15 to $20 depending on size.

You can also get pictures taken in MK next to Tony's restaurante. I think it's the Emporium? (Someone correct me if I'm wrong). In the back they have different backgrounds you can select. They don't have live characters, but they are in the backgrounds and will print out on the picture. A friend at work had one taken of her daughter and a Mickey background and it turned out really cute.

They also had the green screen photos at EPCOT - at the end of Journey of Imagination with Figment I think . They had all of these games at the end of the ride and they also had two areas to do the green screen photos. We had our 13 month old DD's picture made with Tigger, Pooh and Eeyore giving her a bath. There is also a nice option with the princesses your DD might like. They have that one at MK as well. It's in the building immediatelly to your right when you pass under the train station.
