Studio condo for 2 adults, 2 kids?

While searching some of the usual sights, I was pointed in the direction of an inexpensive studio in the Kissimmee area. Am I wrong in assuming that the studio will likely have a sleeper/sofa type bed in addition to a "real" bed? I input 4 total people in the search. One bed and a sofa bed will work for us and I like having kitchen facilities onsite. Not really looking for too much more for our bunch. Anybody else have experience renting studios in the area? TIA Wes

There are so many options for condos, etc. in the Orlando/Kissimmee area. If you share your travel dates and budget that will help the fellow DISer's here make recommendations.

This incomplete info is from hotwire. It shows as only a 2 star, but 20 reviews (which I can't read yet and no pics of course) average to 3.5 stars for $54 nite. June 8-14 is the time frame. I did an unsuccessful search for more info on betterbidding.com

disney studios are that way.

so are the Marriott and Hilton.

but some like Cypress Pointe - only have the bed.

just depends upon the timeshares - these are more likely to be in timeshares.

although some of the newer timeshares don't have studio at all - they just have a tiny, tiny 1-bedroom - they put that with a bigger 1-bedroom to make a 2-bedroom.

like Marriott a little better than Disney - marriott has a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa in their studios - while Disney has a queen bed and a double (full) sleeper sofa.

don't remember which hilton did.

at disney OKW and AKV are the least expensive - when are you going?
disney is only a good deal on Sun-thurs (leaving on Fri) - not any other days.
then it is generally most expensive than the Disney value resort.
a DVC studio has a microwave, under the counter refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, paper plates & bowls.
