Studio availability dec 26, 27, 28 (2010!)

Hi!

I'm a lurker, a one-time renter, and a DVC wannabe. I just checked in on the board that shows DVC availability listed by month. I was toying with a very quick Xmas trip with a room only rate at Pop.

Is this board accurate? It shows that a DVC owner could rent almost any studio for this Dec 26, 27, 28.

By this date, wouldn't it be a safe bet that all DVC for all resorts would be booked for Xmas/New Years Week? Right?

I do not mean this in a harsh or rude way, but only a very small percentage of DVC owners frequent this board, much less enter availability/non-availability. In other words, do not take those threads as assurability of getting a room during that time period.

It's a better tool to use to see what is already NOT available. And that also can change in an instant.

The only way to know what is available is for a DVC member to call Member Services. That's the only way.
