Studio Amenities @ VB

I saw the post earlier on what to cook in a Studio. I was wondering if all studios are created equal regardless of what resort you are staying at.

Example, do the studios come with plates, bowls, cutlery and microwave safe bowls?

The studio has paper plates, bowls, cups and plastic cutlery, but no microwave safe bowl. 1 and 2 bedrooms has the real stuffs but not studios.

We've put the paper bowls in the microwave...although I think you are asking about larger, glass bowls which aren't provided.

One nice thing about VB is it is so much easier to bring left-overs back from a restaurant than at WDW. That's what we usually eat in a VB Inn room or Studio

Here's a little secret they don't advertise... I'll walk down to the restaurant (shutters) and order take-out. The first time I asked if this was possible the CM said they didn't do take-out, but another more experienced CM nearby said "sure we do". Since then we will do this once or twice on a stay. Typically, the meals are plenty for two (at least this two) so we order one entree and two salads. They will give you an extra plate and utensils too. Then we take it back to our room and split the entree. Saves money on the entree and no tip involved. Much nicer too.... I'm not good with hearing in a noisy area.
