Has anyone heard if it was being cancelled, and if so, do you have any info?

My mom just said that 6 episodes have been taped but they are not going to air. Did anyone else hear that?

Last I heard it was picked up for the rest of this season but no decision had been made about next year yet. But I heard that a over a month ago, I don't know if anything has changed since then.

I believe officially it's on "hiatus", which was originally planned for March, but pushed up a week. It was picked up for a full season a while ago, so I would imagine the remaining episodes would be aired eventually. I assume, barring miracles, that it's not coming back for a Season 2.

Our newspaper said that "The Black Donnellys" premiere is being moved up one week. And that "Studio 60" would begin it hiatus a week earlier than planned. Not sure what that means for "60".

Figures. The show was really getting going and finding it's idenitity. That last (could really be the last) episode was excellent.

The show costs $3 million an episode to produce and was consistently finishing way behind in the ratings each week. It was pulling in less than half the national audience for the CSI show it was competing against (and closer to one third than one half).

The only thing going for the show's survival is that the demographics watching it were the highest household income of any network show, ie, a very coveted group to advertisers.

If the Black Donnellys do as well in the slot as Studio 60 did, it's highly doubtful we'll ever see another episode air on NBC. I suppose there is a small possibility that the remaining filmed episodes will air at some point on Bravo, but it's hard to imagine that new ones will be produced at that price tag.

The fact that NBC jettisoned Studio 60 in the middle of the February ratings sweep period shows that the network has no faith in the series and is willing to try something else.

I was thinking the same thing when I watched it. It's just starting to find it's groove, and they cancel it. Boo!

I admit, I was getting kind of bored with it. It's too bad because I love Brad Whitford. I was really getting sick of his obsession with Jordan. And then when she turned around and suddenly liked him

I have no interest in Black Donnellys what so ever. I hope it doesn't do well so they will bring back Studio 60.

I normally DVR Studio 60 and watch what about Brian. I am getting pretty bored and bothered by What about Brian though. Talk about people who keep making stupid choices.

I love the show and will be crushed if it's cancelled. It's way better than 30 Rock, and in a prime spot after Heroes! Ugh...I certainly have no interest in The Black Donnelly's.

I want to like this show. I watch it, but it is boring. I want to care about the characters, but most of them are just annoying. I thought this weeks show was stupid. Why Harriet didn't walk off that set a whole lot sooner, why did we have to see that guy shooting himself and I didn't even get who it was suppose to be IRL.

I hoped it would get better, but I don't think it has.

AWWWW - DH and I love this show!!

count me in with the majority - love Studio 60 - have no interest in Black Donnellys what so ever....
