Stuck on Splash, Swimming in Sewage, & Still Laughing! A "Classy" 6/11 TR- 5/6 DONE!

I too am slightly guilty of collecting too much. I hopped on the Vinylmation train. However, I don't trade them! :lmao: I just keep them. How cute for you to get John a Vinylmation for a surprise.

I love your Stacy picture and reference. You could totally be Stacy. ;)

I'm so jealous of your lazy monday night. I have been studying for Philosophy on and off for hours (but mostly procrastinating, clearly) and I just can't surf the DIS without that thought at the back of my head "STUDY PHILOSOPHY." Stupid Aristotle, Aquinas, Paley, Darwin and other people. I HATE YOU.

Ahem. Sorry. Rant. I need some Disney to save me, clearly.

Disney naps... blasphemous yet necessary. I agree with you. And yeah sometimes I wake up from naps and I just don't feel good. But showers usually help and then I'm ready to venture forward!

sdfuciojklhgfdsjzhljdsbgyfhulijakszbhgfdhisuljzkchbgzdyiufljhkdbsxhkjbn ZOO TYCOON HOLY CRAP. Okay, so like... My boyfriend and I were talking about Zoo Tycoon and Roller Coaster Tycoon the other day and how much we used to love them. So he DOWNLOADED THEM FOR ME and now I CAN'T STOP PLAYING THEM!!! Mostly Zoo Tycoon. It's a serious addiction. I think I stayed up until 4 am Friday and Saturday night playing it. I got the Zoo of the Year award and everything!! AHHH CHILDHOOD. I love that game soooo much!

I'm so sorry I'm such a spaz tonight. Philosophy is eating away at my brain, I'm tellin' ya.

AWW WHEEZY! I don't know how I feel about vinylmations yet. I should probably invest in one.

EWWWWWWW OH MY GOD I would have FREAKED out at the sight of that bug. Holy freakin' cow. EWWW. And a bee flew in your mouth at AK once?! OH MY GOD I'm so sorry. :sad2:

Hahaha omg yes that picture is SO Stacey-ish!!

YUM CANDY APPLE.

So, I have to admit that we actually watch Disney channel shows as well. We like Good Luck Charlie but since we don't have cable we don't watch it all the time.

I have somehow also gotten sucked into Vinylmation trading. DW and I used to kind of make fun of it but now I collect them.

Your sandwiches look delicious! And a caramel apple sounds so good... now I'm totally craving Disney treats! That's too funny how quickly John got into vinylmations! The trading/unknown aspect of it seems pretty fun, especially with such an avid collector. ;)

I'm so sorry about the crunchy, icky bug!

It looks like you guys had a great time at Downtown Disney! That's so cool about AK, I'm so glad that you guys got to stay there and see the animals right outside your balcony :cutie: (well, really close anyway).

I do think Good Luck Charlie is cute, but I've only seen like 3 episodes. I don't even know what else is on Disney Channel anymore! Well, besides Phineas and Ferb. I actually like that show. I never watch it, but I like it! :rotfl: Hahha age is just a number!

Wheezy! Aww, I love Wheezy! He's so precious. And what a sultry singing voice he has!

OH MY GOSH. Your bug story is just terrifying! AHHHH. BUGS. I hate them! I'm shuddering just reading this! Ahhhhhhh. :scared:

I know exactly what you're talking about! DTD is home to some big name shops and restaurants that will have you saying YUM and WOW every five seconds! "SHOP TIL YOU DROP!" :woohoo:

YAY new breakfast experiences are always fun!

Sigh... the Disney Channel is just nowhere near as good as it used to be. I miss the old days!

I'm so excited cause I'm FINALLY trying the Earl of Sandwich in NYC next week! I've never been there (not even the one in Disney) so I hope it lives up to the epic hype!

YES THAT PICTURE IS STACEYISH! I can see her now, bopping around and talking about the ABSOLUTELY GIGANDO NAMES IN ENTERTAINMENT! Oh how I love her.

That's how I am with pins! I hardly ever trade them, I just keep them all! :goodvibes

OHMYGOSH thank you!! That is pretty much the biggest compliment anyone could give me! I would love to be Stacey! :lovestruc

Hahaha stupid philosophers!! How dare they take away from your DIS time! Don't these college professors understand what's really important?!

HAHA that is so awesome that you have been playing Zoo Tycoon! OMG and Rollercoaster Tycoon...those games were amazing!

You're not a spaz, you're cracking me up! :lmao:

I like Vinylmations, but they're still not as cool as pins in my opinion. I'm obsessed with pins!

Ugh that bug was terrible! And yep...a bee flew straight in my mouth while I was eating some McDonald's fries at AK (remember when they had a fry stand in all the parks?). It was so disgusting!

So, I have to admit that we actually watch Disney channel shows as well. We like Good Luck Charlie but since we don't have cable we don't watch it all the time.

I love Good Luck Charlie. The mom on that show cracks me up! :rotfl:

That's how we were! We made fun of them at first, now John loves them!

That is my favorite EoS sandwich! I love it! Ohhh what I wouldn't give for some Disney treats right now! :cloud9:

I think that's what he enjoys the most, being surprised. That's always fun! :goodvibes

Haha that bug was so nasty! UGH!

We love Downtown Disney! It's always so much fun! :goodvibes Yeah, staying at AKL was amazing! We loved stopping to look at the animals everyday.

I do think Good Luck Charlie is cute, but I've only seen like 3 episodes. I don't even know what else is on Disney Channel anymore! Well, besides Phineas and Ferb. I actually like that show. I never watch it, but I like it! :rotfl: Hahha age is just a number!

The Disney Channel has really gone downhill, but lately they've been showing some Disney movies like Princess and the Frog and Aladdin and stuff, so that's pretty awesome! :goodvibes

Haha Wheezy's voice is quite sultry, I agree! :lmao:

I hate bugs SO MUCH too. Ugh, they really know how to ruin someone's good time!

HAHA YAY! That's the part exactly! I'm so impressed with your Stacey quoting skills! :thumbsup2

Sigh... the Disney Channel is just nowhere near as good as it used to be. I miss the old days!

HAHA yay! I'm so glad all of you were able to see the Stacey-ness in that picture. She's awesome! :goodvibes

John and I woke up the next morning with a very important goal- to capitalize on our deluxe accommodations by enjoying at delicious breakfast in a popular resort restaurant! Well, since we were staying at AKL, I’m sure you can guess which restaurant I’m talking about here! :rolleyes1

AnniversaryTrip478.jpg

BOMA! :woohoo: I had heard so many good things about this place, and I was SO EXCITED to try it! I had slept really well the night before so I was feeling awesome. John, on the other hand, not so much…

AnniversaryTrip479.jpg

He was having a hard time waking up that morning, and was in dire need of some coffee. Luckily our name was called very quickly so John was able to get his caffeine fix!

Okay so here’s my review of Boma. Let me just preface this by saying I took zero pictures of the restaurant. I was too distracted by THE FOOD, but we’ll get to that in a minute. Even though I didn’t take any pictures of the décor, I must rave about it for just a bit. It’s absolutely gorgeous! It’s open and airy and decorated perfectly. *sigh* I miss it so much! :lovestruc

Anyway, I was completed distracted by the insanely huge buffet, and I couldn’t wait to fill my first plate! Our waiter, whose name I have conveniently forgotten, came over and took our drink order. John got coffee and I ordered the famous Boma juice (what’s it called? Jungle Juice?) that I had heard so much about. While he went to get those he told us to help ourselves to the buffet. Well, you don’t have to tell me twice!

AnniversaryTrip480.jpg

Okay let’s do the first plate breakdown. Moving clockwise we have: scrambled eggs with goat cheese (AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL :cloud9:), sausage (very yummy), some little banana nut muffin (tasty), chocolate croissant (fabulous), sticky bun thing with pecans (delish). So as you can see, everything on my first place was a winner! Those eggs were definitely my favorite, though…oh those eggs! What I wouldn’t give for some right now. I love goat cheese so much! John thinks I’m crazy for eating it but it’s just SO GOOD.

While I was enjoying my first plate our waiter came back with the most amazing juice ever created.

AnniversaryTrip481.jpg

Seriously, BEST. JUICE. EVER. IF you’ve never had it, you must go get some as soon as you get back to WDW. It’s that good. John was pretty happy with his coffee, until he tried my juice. Then he couldn’t resist getting a glass for himself!

John and I always take turns going to the buffet so someone can guard our stuff at the table, so he tagged me in and I was back for round two!

AnniversaryTrip482.jpg

Okay here we go again clockwise: I’m not sure what that stuff at the top is, but I didn’t love it, more of those perfect eggs, potatoes (seasoned perfectly and very yummy), and a pretty bland croissant. This plate wasn’t quite up to par with the first, but it was still good. Very good.

Sorry, but I didn’t take any pictures of John’s food. I remember he ate a whole lot of meat, but I’m not sure exactly what he had. I’m pretty sure multiple pounds of bacon were involved, though. He was just as happy with the food as I was, and he couldn’t get enough of that magical juice. In fact, he finished his glass and mine!

Now it’s time for one of those unpleasant experiences that puts a slight damper on our Disney festivities. There was this guy and his teenage daughter sitting at a table near us; I hadn’t noticed them much during our breakfast except to notice that the dad ate about five plates of food. Well toward the end of our meal I noticed him calling the waiter over to his table. He seemed unhappy about something because he was waving his hands around and speaking kind of loudly. We still couldn’t hear him, so I sent John in to do some recon and figure out what was up. John very casually went and got one more croissant, and on his way back he hovered long enough to get the jest of it. Apparently the guy was peeved because his coffee didn’t get refilled enough during his breakfast, and he was demanding a FREE meal! Now, I understand being a little annoyed if you didn’t get a refill, but really? A free meal? That just seems like a bit much, especially since he sat there and hoovered his breakfast like he was in an eating contest. John and I thought that surely they wouldn’t give in, but a few minutes later the manager came over and told him his meal would be free! I just couldn’t believe that. I really felt like this guy was taking advantage of Disney’s hospitality. Plus, our waiter was super busy and was doing the best he could. Here’s the worst part- when the guy got up to leave with his daughter he didn’t even leave a tip! I mean seriously?! You just got a sixty dollar meal for free and you can’t even leave ten bucks?? What a jerk. John and I felt so sorry for our waiter, so we left him a really big tip and got out of there. Ugh. Some people. :sad2:

Anyway, moving on from that negativity, after our delicious breakfast we were both feeling refreshed and ready for a great day! Any guesses where we were heading??

Did you guess Epcot? If you did, you’re right!

AnniversaryTrip483.jpg

Up Next: Adventures in Epcot, and another part of my title explained! Stay tuned!

WOO HOO! Two updates in one day! :woohoo: I realized my previous update was a little weak, so I figured I wouldn’t leave my readers unsatisfied. Plus I just need to immerse myself in Disney as much as possible for the next 98 days.

So anyway, Epcot time! When we parked the car I realized that the TRON monorail (the TRONorail? Do we call it that or am I just making that up?) was passing and I managed to snap a quick picture!

AnniversaryTrip484.jpg

I still haven’t seen TRON, and I won’t lie, I have no clue what it’s about. I spent a long time thinking the plot was about a boy who gets caught in a pinball machine, but then I realized I was actually thinking of an episode of that old school Nickelodeon show “Are You Afraid of The Dark”. I'm stupid.

Anyway, back to Epcot. Hello, beautiful!

AnniversaryTrip486.jpg

I am so excited to be staying at Beach Club in July, but it will be kind of weird not seeing this lovely sight as soon as I enter the park. Oh well, I’ll be a stone’s throw away from the World Showcase, so I’m okay with it!

We were arriving a little while after park opening, so we didn’t even try for Soarin’ FPs. In fact, we had no intention of trying to ride it that day anyway. We were coming back the next morning, so we were really relaxed that morning. John did go grab us some FP for Test Track, but other than that we were taking it easy.

So where do you go in Epcot when you’re not racing to get on Soarin’ or eating? How about…

AnniversaryTrip487.jpg

The Seas with Nemo and Friends! I know I’ve said it before, but I love the queue to this ride, especially in the summer. It’s so cool and dark.

AnniversaryTrip488.jpg

AnniversaryTrip489.jpg

AnniversaryTrip491.jpg

The part with the freaky electric fish was broken, but other than that we had a wonderful ride through the biiiiiiig blue world!

We stopped to look at those big fat manatees, but I didn’t take any pictures of them for some reason. I did take a picture of their names, though, because I realized one was different from our last trip!

AnniversaryTrip492.jpg

Manatees crack me up. They’re so cute, and they really live the life. They just float around eating lettuce all day. Although I will say, I’d be kind of mad if all I ate was lettuce and my waistline was still that large. Now I could understand if there were Big Macs floating around in the water, but lettuce? I don’t get it.

We didn’t spend too much time in The Seas since we had just been to Sea World a few days before, but I did have to stop to see my beautiful dolphins!

AnniversaryTrip493.jpg

Remember my emotional break down during the dolphin show at Sea World? Yeah well, we almost had a repeat performance so we had to get out of there pronto!

So, where do you go when you’re over The Sea? Why, to The Land, of course!

AnniversaryTrip494.jpg

John had been curious about the Lion King show they have there for ages, so we decided to check it out. Has anyone else ever seen that thing? WOW. It’s super dated (90s cars and clothes all up in that thing) and kind of depressing! In a nutshell, Timon and Pumbaa want to create a fancy resort in the middle of the jungle so they dam up this river, so Simba (AKA Debbie Downer) comes along and shows them how humans and their greed have pretty much ruined everything. Lots of sad images ensue, and Timon and Pumbaa learn a valuable lesson in the end. I think the video was very educational and eye opening, but I believe some of the images could be disturbing to small children. And by small children I totally mean disturbing to ME.

Anyway, after that we decided to learn more about being environmentally aware by going on Living with the Land!

AnniversaryTrip495.jpg

William Wordsworth! I love seeing English-related things at Disney so I can go all educational on John and try to teach him something new. Believe it or not he really wasn’t interested in hearing about English romantic poets from the 18th century. I know, right? Who wouldn’t want to hear about that while on vacation? :confused3

Most of my Living with the Land pictures are ruined due to my lack of a flash, but here’s a few!

Hidden Mickey!

AnniversaryTrip502.jpg

AnniversaryTrip503.jpg

ANOTHER Hidden Mickey! We were getting really good at this! :thumbsup2

AnniversaryTrip504.jpg

I love being able to see into the lab! I wish my classroom was on display at Disney. I think it would make work a lot more fun to know that interested tourists were watching me do my thing all day.

AnniversaryTrip506.jpg

After that it was time to use our Test Track FPs!!

YAY!

AnniversaryTrip508.jpg

This was John’s reaction to me saying, “TEST TRACK, BABY!” in my best Stacey voice! (Deer face?! That’s a deer face, right Kristen and Jess?)

AnniversaryTrip509.jpg

After our ride on Test Track we made a quick loop around the World Showcase, but oh my gosh it was HOT. I felt like I was melting straight into the sidewalk, so we decided it was a good time to go back to the resort and enjoy the pool for a while! It seems like we didn’t do much at Epcot, but we would be back the next day to tackle the rest of it!

When we got back to the hotel we went to the room and changed into our swimsuits. On the way there I had to stop and take another picture of the adorable giraffes outside!

AnniversaryTrip513.jpg

If you’re wondering if there was a single time on this trip when I was able to walk by the giraffes without taking a picture, the answer is no. Sorry!

Okay so I thought this trip to the pool was when I got part of my TR title, but upon closer inspection of my TR notes I realized I was wrong. Sorry for my misleading teaser in the previous post, but you’ll have to wait a little while for that one….um…APRIL FOOLS? Hehe… :rolleyes1

Thankfully this visit to the pool was pleasantly uneventful. It was eight million degrees outside so naturally the pool was packed, but we still had a really good time. I had left my camera in the room so I wouldn’t ruin it, but I took a picture on my phone of the fruity beverage John got for me at the bar.

ad6d6ff5.jpg

It had a great orange flavor, but it was a little strong and it gave me a brain freeze so I gave most of it to John. I am a total sun worshipper and I spend about 90% of my summer lying out, but John isn’t quite as keen on turning into leather as I am so he went inside after about half an hour. I decided to try out the zero depth entry in the pool, which I found quite enjoyable. It reminded me of being at the beach, and I bobbed around like a cork in the shallow end for a while. I love going to the pools in Disney. It’s such a great way to unwind and relax a little, but still feel immersed in the Disney magic. I sat there in the shallow end on this really cool ledge reading a magazine for a bit, and then I decided to go in and get ready. We were heading to Magic Kingdom that evening, and we had big plans to try out a new CS restaurant! YAY!

Up Next: I fall in love with ANOTHER Disney food. Any guesses where we went?

I still haven’t seen TRON, and I won’t lie, I have no clue what it’s about. I spent a long time thinking the plot was about a boy who gets caught in a pinball machine, but then I realized I was actually thinking of an episode of that old school Nickelodeon show “Are You Afraid of The Dark”. I'm stupid.

Oh my gosh, I totally think of the same thing!!! How funny! Yayy 98 days!:cool1: I'm guessing your new CS restaurant is....Casey's?!

Boma looks delicious! But wow about that guy. It's surprising that people are like that.

Reading about Epcot gets me more and more excited for our trip! :yay:

Your drink looked yummy - I'm sorry it wasn't as good as it looked though. The pictures of the AKL pool I've seen are pretty awesome, so I bet you had a great time relaxing! Looking forward to reading about MK and your new food love :lovestruc (though I don't have any guesses about what it is, I'm just excited for your review :) ).

Hahha I actually didn't know which restaurant you were heading to! I've never been to any of the AKL restaurants so I get them all confused. BUT HOORAY FOR BOMA!

Your food looks delicious and that juice sounds like a winner! But I am like mortified about that guy! HOW completely rude can you get? If you want some stinkin coffee, ASK! I cannot believe he didn't even leave a tip. That just annoys me because it's not like the waiter was purposely neglecting the guy's coffee. Good for yall for leaving him a nice tip.

Hahaha! The poor manatees and their large waistlines. Daggon lettuce!

HAHAHA John needs to admit that he loves your Stacey quotes. I mean who wouldn't? :rotfl: I forgive you for the 'April Fool' joke. We will learn eventually!

That giy at Boma sounds like the kind of guy who will also be complaining when he checls out to try and score his room for free too. :confused3 I hate it when people do that. I mean if there is a legitimate complaint, fine, but too often people are looking for something for free!

First of all we love your TR so far!! And yes, we remember that episode of 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?' too; and it was almost as fabulous as your Trip Report! We can't wait to hear more and read your others.

BOMA!!!! :lovestruc OMG I love that place! I'm going to miss it in May! I keep thinking I should change Cape May to Boma for breakfast, but it's SO out of the way! And I really do want to try Cape May...but Cape May doesn't have goat cheese scrambled eggs. :( Or that juice!!! :worship:

Ugh that guy sounds like such a jerk. :sad2: I can't stand when I see people act like that in Disney, I mean, if you have a legitimate complaint, fine, but not enough coffee refills? Lame.

Yay Epcot! I haven't seen Tron either, and I have no desire to. Have no idea what it's about. I think they did another theme monorail this year, something to do with Marvel? Is it just me, or is Marvel NOT Disney? Yeah, great, they own it...build a separate park for it then, I don't want it in any of the existing ones. (Sorry I'm a little bitter!)

Awww, the Seas! I love that place! I absolutely adore manatees, they are so sweet! :lovestruc And Living with the Land! Such an underrated ride! :thumbsup2

Your drink looks good, but I can't drink frozen drinks like that either, so I try to stay away from them! Hanging out in the pool at AKL sounds perfect, it's so pretty! :cloud9:

Oh my gosh, I totally think of the same thing!!! How funny! Yayy 98 days!:cool1: I'm guessing your new CS restaurant is....Casey's?!

Haha that's so funny that you think of the same thing! 97 days now! I can't wait! That's a pretty good guess.... ;)

Boma looks delicious! But wow about that guy. It's surprising that people are like that.

Reading about Epcot gets me more and more excited for our trip! :yay:

Boma is amazing, but seriously, that guy was such a jerk!

Yay! I'm so glad I'm helping you get more excited! :goodvibes

It was pretty good, just a little strong for me. I'm kind of a wimp about stuff like that, haha! Relaxing by the AKL pool is so much fun! It has a very tropical feel to it. I'm getting ready to post my review of the surprise CS restaurant! I hope you like it!

Hahha I actually didn't know which restaurant you were heading to! I've never been to any of the AKL restaurants so I get them all confused. BUT HOORAY FOR BOMA!

You MUST try Boma someday...it's amazing!! I've never had Jiko before, but I've heard it's pretty spectacular too!

Seriously, that guy was a total jerk. You could tell he was just looking for an excuse to complain so he could get his meal for free. Ugh. Thanks! We felt so bad for our waiter!

Those manatees should try some water aerobics...I'm just sayin'. ;)

Haha John is definitely in Stacey denial, even though he quotes her almost as much as I do! :lmao:

That giy at Boma sounds like the kind of guy who will also be complaining when he checls out to try and score his room for free too. :confused3 I hate it when people do that. I mean if there is a legitimate complaint, fine, but too often people are looking for something for free!

You're probably right- I bet he would do something like that! Ugh. Seriously, if you have a real complaint that's one thing, but searching for stuff to complain about to get a freebie is just annoying!

First of all we love your TR so far!! And yes, we remember that episode of 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?' too; and it was almost as fabulous as your Trip Report! We can't wait to hear more and read your others.

:welcome: I'm so glad you're enjoying it! Haha that's so funny that you remember that episode! That was a great show. Thank you so much for reading along!

:worship:

Boma is SO good. I would go there just to eat the eggs and drink the juice, but I'm really excited to hear what you think about Cape May's breakfast because we're doing that in July! Actually, we're doing Boma and Cape May in July. I couldn't resist both!

Yeah he was being a total jerk. I wish they wouldn't have given in to him.

I think the new monorail you're thinking of is the Avengers one. I agree with you- they need a separate park for Marvel! I don't want it looking too much like Universal!

Living with the Land is totally underrated, I agree!

Yeah, I'm not big on drinking those frozen drinks, but I always feel tempted when relaxing by the pool!

More updates YAY! :yay: I realized that this TR is almost a year old, so I’m really trying to get through it. However, I don’t want to rush because there’s still a ton of fun stuff to talk about, and even some more surprises!

When I left off I was heading back to the room from the AKL pool so we could get ready for our evening at MK. When I got back I found John completely unconscious on the bed. I was feeling yucky from the pool so I let him sleep while I showered, then I forced him to get up so we could get going! Waking that man up is almost impossible. Whenever we have tornado watches (which is pretty much every day in the summer here in NC) I try to get him to stay up all night because I know that if a tornado did come we’d be halfway to Oz before he woke up.

Anyway, I was finally able to pry him off the bed and we were on our way to a lovely evening at Magic Kingdom! :goodvibes

What a beautiful sight!

Okay for some reason I had a brain fart on this night and I didn’t take hardly any pictures. :confused3 WAIT, DON’T STOP READING! I promise it will still be entertaining, and I am going to post another update right after this one!

Are you still reading? Good. Okay, so when we got to Magic Kingdom I had an immediate goal: to eat. Haha, isn’t that always my immediate goal, I mean really? I had been exploring my CS options at MK on the DIS for a while, and I had it narrowed down to two choices: either Casey’s Corner or Pecos Bill’s. So, where did we go?

HOLY CHEESE SAUCE, BATMAN! That’s right, we went with Casey’s Corner. My hotdog is the one smothered in mustard, and I guess I just couldn’t resist gnawing on the end of it before I took the picture.

Now, let’s get started with my review of Casey’s Corner. I think this is best handled in a bulleted format. Let’s start with the pros.

Pros:
• The atmosphere. I love it! I teach Casey at the Bat to my freshmen every year when we study narrative poems, and I love feeling like I’m actually at an old fashioned baseball game! Plus, the CMs who work there have the cutest uniforms in all of Disney World in my opinion.
• The hotdogs (duh). You can tell they are made with quality meat, and the buns are amazing! I love that the buns are actually big enough for the hotdog, so I don’t end up with those annoying dangling hotdog ends on either side.
• The dessert options! I mean come on, where else in Disney World can you get cotton candy or Cracker Jacks as your dessert? I love how true the food is to the theming!
• I saved the most important for last: THE FREAKING CHEESE SAUCE. :worship: *Southern girl circa Gone With the Wind voice* Well I do declare, Mr. Beauregard, that cheese sauce gives me the vapors! Seriously though, if that stuff wasn’t as hot as molten lava I really think I would just submerge my arm up to the elbow in the vat and then just lick it off. I’m not joking.

Okay and now the one Con:
•THE SEATING. Ughhh seriously, they need about eight hundred more tables in order to seat everyone who eats at this place. I really wish they would do away with those bleachers on the inside (even though they’re cute) and replace them with more tables. I hate trying to enjoy my meal in there because desperate people balancing armfuls of trays are always standing around like vultures eyeballing my table.

All in all Casey’s Corner quickly became one of my favorite CS spots in all of Disney World, despite the poor seating. Truth be told, I’d eat those hotdogs in the bathroom if I had to! Okay maybe not…that’s gross. Anyway, awesome CS. In fact, you will be seeing it again in my December/January TR!

Oh, and one more awesome thing about Casey’s: check out this view!

After our delicious dinner we were on a mission: to ride as much as possible before the Electrical Parade! I guess we were really in the zone, so that’s why I didn’t take any pictures. I do remember that we hit up the triple mountain whammy. How do I remember this? Because we got stuck on Splash Mountain AGAIN. I wish I was joking. I started having a panic attack as soon as it stopped, but thankfully we were only stuck for about five minutes this time!

We also rode some of our other favorites, including Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion! All in all it was a very successful evening, and before we knew it, it was time for the Main Street Electrical Parade!

Now, if you remember my ranting about it in the past you’ll know that the MSEP is my SECOND favorite parade of all time, being beaten only by the MNSSHP Boo to You Parade. If you’re wondering, my very close third favorite is the Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun Parade at DHS. I DON’T WANNA WORK…okay anyway, back on topic. I love the MSEP. LOVE IT. :lovestruc Yes, I know the music crawls into your ears and lives there indefinitely, but that’s why I love it! It’s so weird and obnoxious and catchy all at the same time- kind of like me! ;)

I have good news. I got the ENTIRE parade on video! Um, you’re welcome! I know you’re all just dying to click on this video and relive the magic! Go on, you know you want to!

*Sigh* It never gets old. You’re watching it again, aren’t you? It’s okay, I understand.

I know we watched Wishes at some point this night, and even though I didn’t write down anything about it or take any pictures I’m sure it was amazing. Haha, copy and paste that previous sentence under “Worst TR Ever” in the dictionary. I’m like, “Um…we went to Disney, we did some stuff. Now we’re home. The End.”

My overwhelming love for the MSEP takes a lot out of me, so we were ready to head back to the resort pretty soon after. We had big plans to get some Soarin’ FPs in the morning, so we had to be ready to get up early!

Up Next: A fun morning at Epcot with another new dining experience! Stay tuned!

Hahahahha! I really hope no tornados ever sweep you off to Oz while John is sleeping. That might be a confusing thing to wake up to. :rotfl:

Yay for Casey's! I completely agree about the seating though! There are just not enough tables! But the VIEW is incredible! Can't beat it!

Okay so whenever I tell people this they always (most likely immediately) stop liking me, but I've never liked cheese sauce of any kind. I don't know why! I'm sorry. But I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

OMG, you got stuck AGAIN on Splash? That's scary... I've been hearing way too often lately about people getting stuck on that ride! They're gonna need to get their act together with that ride before we're both riding this summer!

I love MSEP too! It's the first parade I ever saw at MK! :lovestruc I actually don't find the music annoying at all, for some reason! I just think it's so happy and fun! YEAH MSEP!

YAY for MK! Casey's looks very good - I love the snack options you mentioned too! :thumbsup2 And what an awesome view! :lovestruc

It sounds like you guys had a very productive evening. That's scary that you got stuck on Splash again though. Wow. I so hope that doesn't happen to us.

The video of MSEP definitely made up for not having lots of pictures. :goodvibes That's something I'm so looking forward to on our trip :yay: since I haven't seen it since I was little (we always managed to miss it at DCA)!

So glad you went to Casey's! I am borderline obsessed with both Casey's and Peco's Bill's, but Casey's is the winner for me by a hair... can't beat those hot dogs!!!! And the cheese sauce?! Don't even get me started!!! I do, however, have the same complaint about the seating  Glad to hear you and John had a productive night at MK! :thumbsup2
