As our travel preferences have evolved over time, I value space more and more. I guess I probably should have bought DVC a long time ago for a larger range of accommodation types, but that’s a different topic for another day.
We’re not park commandos but we’re not room home bodies either, somewhere in between. So things like room comfort/size, distance to the lounge, etc resonate medium to higher on my list.
So especially with a
MVMCP involved, I still lean CR. Caveat I haven’t stayed in the hospitality suite, but it tends to get good reviews like you’ve seen here. It’s just a different CL experience given the trek to the lounge.
But I know myself - if this were me, at booking I’d sit here and think I’m making the “smart decision” by saving a few bucks with the Hospitality Suite, but then I’d get there, get in the room, be annoyed I’m not in the Tower, and be questioning why I was so concerned with a few hundred bucks, which is pretty tiny in the relative grand scheme of a typical WDW stay (generally speaking).
Easy for me to spend your money of course, but to me if you’re already in the zone where Disney’s various suite and suite-type accommodations are in your budget range, might as well just lean in and go big. And at the end of the day the Tower Club/14th Floor, while not perfect, is up there in terms of special/unique places at WDW. I’ve rarely left not totally content with having spent the $ to be there.
(Sorry for being a bad influence here)
