Stuck on rides...

What ride have you been stuck on, and for how long?

I've been stuck on Splash Mt. for 1 1/2 hours, right when we were going up the biggest drop, we had to be walked off backstage. I guess that's what you get for going on right after they fixed it from breaking down before then.

In jan we were stuck on TTa for about an hour and got free fast passes

Pirates of the Caribbean for 45 minutes...right where the bridge is with the pirate's leg hanging down...so close to the end. They turned off the audio 1/2 hr into the wait. We received a fastpass at the end

Same here, but for just under an hour. Since I'm a Disney geek, I loved it because I knew we'd get an impromptu backstage tour. Also got to see MSEP from a unique perspective while waiting to be led out.

We were stuck on Pirates but not for THAT long. Only problem was, it was after lunch and a VERY large diet coke. Let's just say I was super uncomfy and ready to get the heck off by the time we got off.

We have been stuck on several. The most recent ones I can recall are Buzz for 5 minutes & Figment for 15 - 20 minutes - that was horrible.

During the year of a million dreams I won an extra hour in the magic Kingdom after the park closed. Well, we got stuck on Pirates for 20 minutes and Haunted mansion for about 15...lol, that hour did not work out as planned.

Oh yes. Haunted Mansion. I swear we are stuck on Haunted Mansion and Pirates at least once every single trip. Have also been stuck on Dinosaur which was AWFUL. The kids were scared to begin with and then we got stuck. The ride is just WAY too loud to get stuck on.

ive been stuck on A LOT of rides. The People Mover (multiple times), PotC (multiple times), Snow White, The Epcot Ball (multiple times), Buzz Lightyear, the Nemo ride, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, inside the ruins on a hot day, it was brutal, CoP.... so ya just a few! Haha, they were never really TOO long, the longest times I have been stuck have been on PotC.

Two rides stick out for me!

I don't remember how long either of them were for, because I was under 10 both times and they each felt like they took forever.

First ride was The Great Movie Ride. We got stuck and then had to actually get up and walk through the rest of the ride. Including the Alien section. With the animatronics still going and I think the lights were still off. I did eventually overcome my fear and watch the movie (and enjoyed it!), quite a few years later.

The second ride is my favorite, Peter Pan's Flight. It was the first time my parents rode in one ship and my little brother and I had one to ourselves. We got stuck while over London and they had to call the fire department to get us down. Did I mention my fear of heights? That one I still haven't gotten past!

This was all of course before Fastpasses and I don't remember getting jack for either experience!

My friend and I decided to run over to Haunted Mansion because the wait was short. We slammed our diet cokes and got in line. And then the ride stopped. I really regretted that diet coke! We were there for all most an hour. I can still hear the music playing. The ride started up and then stopped right when we were the next people to get off. I hopped off that ride so fast!!

The amazing thing is my grandfather took me on Haunted mansion in the 80s and we got stuck in the cemetery going backwards down the hill. I always thought I must have dreamed that until I got stuck again a few years ago.

Why do the rides seem to get stuck so often? I've been stuck a lot since my diet coke event.

I have kind of a funny story about getting stuck on Splash Mt. The trip was just my boyfriend and I. I am scared of heights, so I always have to get myself pumped up before I go on Splash Mt. So right before the big drop where the giant vultures creep me out and I know the giant drop is coming we get stuck!! There were 3 logs in front of us before the drop. So I start panicking and want to climb out. Hearing the music and the birds chatter over and over again rilly freaked me out. We were stuck for about 25-30min, but It felt like an hour. Then the ride started and we made it down the giant drop! LOL.....After some Dole Whip to calm me down, my boyfriend purposed to me in front of the castle!! And I freaked out again, ha ha, but now my hubby and I always laugh about it now.

On another trip we got stuck on Kali River Rapids. Not too sure what happened but after not moving for about 10min, they had us climb from raft to raft til we could get off. We climbed over 4 rafts, so we were ok, but some people had to climb from half way through the ride.They gave us fast passes for the rest of the day and we got to go on later.

Got stuck on the Haunted Mansion ride back in November.....it was probably about 15-20 minutes. Right in a spot where one of those heads pops up out of nowhere. LOL

We got stuck on pirates in the room where the pirates set the town on fire. 45 minutes of yo ho yo ho .... was incredible torture. Who needs water boarding when that is available. They never turned off the music, there were multiple children in the boat crying hysterically (understandably). It was horrible.

Got stuck on everest at the top where you go from backwards to forwards. Usually you see the track flip. It didn't flip, and 15 minutes later cast members were escorting us off. We walked thru the ride and it was the coolest thing to see inside.

I have been stuck on the Nemo ride, Splash Mountain, RnRCoaster ( only about ten minutes but it made me so darn claustrophobic ) and the longest was probably the 20 or so minutes on Haunted Mansion. I thought my younger kids were going to go crazy

ETA - I forgot about test track and the safari - though no one is to blame for the safari.. well maybe I could blame the ostrich Forgot about Buzz too. My son thought it was hilarious to have us spin and spin and spin and spin.....

Having a sensitive digestive track due to IBS, it freaks me out everytime I get stuck.

We have gotten stuck on multiple rides. I feel like Haunted Mansion is probably the one that has stopped the most.

The only time we had to walk off the ride was on The Great American Movie Ride. It was actually pretty cool bc it was in the Wizard of Oz scene. So I ran over and DH got a pic of me sitting on the set!

Hubs and I got stuck on the Aerosmith coaster a couple years ago during EMH. Probably a good 30 minutes. All we could hear was "Love in an Elevator..." over and over and over again.

We got stuck on test track in the temperature change section... and they do not turn off the temperature thingys when the ride gets suck. ugh
