Anyone want to help shovel??

Can't help you much there, I'm right down the road-stuck in New York with 2 feet of snow. Only 189 more days until glorious vacation at the VWL.

We've been stuck in a heavy band...we live between Worcester and Springfield. Snow blowers primed and ready once it stops.

I feel your pain! I'm stuck in Framingham MA. My husband is a Firefighter and he's working his 24 hour shift today. He the snowblower opperater in my house (I'm afraid of the giant thing) so he's not home to clear the driveway. I've been shoveling a little bit to stay ahead of things. The wind is brutal!!
Okay everyone... dont get mad at me....I leave on Friday to go to sunny Mexico for 8 days! I can't wait to get away from winter!!!!

Same thing here two feet of snow. Very windy on top of that. Let's see what Monday brings (school, work, etc.).

And we all hope your airport is open, your airline has not cancelled or overbooked your flight and that you don't have trouble getting to the airport!

Best wishes -

Stuck here on Long Island, NY also....at least 2 ft. and wind's bringing the temperature to single digits.....

Here in central MA cruising the Disboards with 15 inches so far and no end in sight--at least we are heading South on Fri! Is it too early to do the no school dance for tomorrow??
Any Rhode Islanders wanna check in with a weather report? That's where I work!

We have about 14 on the ground, a little more in Maryland. We are about 3 miles from the Maryland border in south central Pa. We leave on Tuesday, going by car.....can't wait

Stuck here in Northwest corner of CT. Too cozy in the house to go outside and measure what we have out there. The wind is howling and snow is blowing and drifts are rising... SNOW....SNOW.....MORE SNOW.....

Checking in from central CT. Over 20" as of 1pm. Shoveled the driveway and thought about Orlando's 79 degree forecast for Friday. We leave Thursday!

Working my 24 hour tour here at the fire station in SE CT. and we are still having blizzard conditions :cold: . Snow is still coming down hard. On the good side we haven't had any runs yet but, the night's not over.
But have you noticed ever since Groundhogs day we really haven't had too many warm days it went right into winter? :cold:

Its about two feet here. The winds are bad still and there seems to be light snow still coming down. DH is gone this weekend and my neighbor was sweet enough to snow blow the driveway and shovel our walkway. Rhode Islanders are so caring and thoughtful. I can't tell you how many calls I've had today from friends and families making sure my son and I were ok. Its been a pretty nice snow day actually. Lots if time to DIS :surfweb:

Wow! You people are really getting pounded!! So glad it didn't move west towards us, but I'm really sorry that all of you other people are having to deal with that..

When is it supposed to stop???

Snow started early this morning, snowed all day with gusty winds, and it's just now tapering off. Local stations called it a day of light snow. Gotta love Maine! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

No shoveling here! We have lots of snow, but it will probably all melt tomorrow. By Friday we are supposed to have 60 degrees.
