We've decided over the wekend to drive to Dsiney in March for 4.5 days. I am not sure about the hotels. We're going with 4 yo twins. So here are the questions:
1) My agent said that the beds in Pop Century are smaller (Full) than in Riverside (Queen)> Is it true?
2) Are the pools in the Pop nice for little kids?

I don't mind paying a little extra if it means that I will be more comfortable! But overall we're not planning to spend too much time in the rooms so any feedback will be great!

Thanks,
Ela

We just got back and LOVED the Pop. I can't imagine paying extra for a moderate. I would pay extra for a deluxe, but not a mod. Not a LOT of difference. As far as I know the mods do not have queen beds, they have doubles, just like the values.
IF a small waterslide and hot tub is important, then spend the money, but otherwise book a preferred room at the Pop and enjoy! The kids will love it. There are 2 spray park type things and 3 fun pools.

Hi, like Lollipop's mom said, no difference in the bed size. To get a queen, you need to book a deluxe resort.

The pool at Pop is fun. It doesn't have a slide or hot tub. The pool at POR is really nice. You need to decide what is important to you. Kids love pools, even a small, plain rectangle to swim in.

I have stayed at both, and enjoyed both. We prefer POR due to the larger room size and the upgraded resort amenities and decor. My older kids also like the slides and hot tubs. However, the kids thought the arcade at Pop was the best of any resort we have stayed at.

Good luck in your decision, and have fun at Disney!

We have stayed at Value, Moderate and Deluxe Resorts and we like the Moderate the best. We did the Pop with 3 adults a few years back and all wanted to hurt each other. The rooms were just too small. The next place we stayed was POR and loved it. The beds are no bigger but there is more room in the rooms. It also seemed a lot less crowded at POR but if you don't plan to hang out at the hotels then I wouldn't worry about it. Being an all adult group when we vacation, we will probably not stay at one of the POP Resorts again. It may not be as bad with you and two little ones though.

I really like the pop resort, BUT I can only stay there for a night or two. To me the beds are not nearly comfortable, hurts my back. Second when the room next to you flushes it's toilet at 3:00 a.m., you can here the loud swoosh! Thin walls. I really like the food court though and it does save money.

The moderates to me are the best value. Much more confortable beds and just a nicer atmosphere in my opinion.

We stayed at POR for our honeymoon and we had a king sized bed. They do exist. We loved it there, but we'll probably stay at a value resort this time around to save money.
