struggling with itinerary

I have had to change holiday from leaving 18th August to leaving 3rd August !!! (dont ask its a long story).

Therefore, have had to re plan itinerary (last minute, last night) and am struggling a bit due to arriving on the Thur instead of the Fri

so, this is what i have come up with so far


Arrive 3/8 p.m. - hotel & mooch
FRI - Busch gardens - really not sure about this drive first day, but guess we'll be up early anyway?
SAT - no idea on this yet
SUN - MGM
MON - UNIVERSAL
TUE - SEAWORLD
WED - Shopping n chill out
THUR I.O.A.
FRI - M.K.
SAT - A.K.
SUN - EPCOT
MON - UNIVERSAL & IOA (Best bits)
TUE - WATER PARK
WED - Shopping n chill out
THUR - leave p.m. - a.m. ????
FRI - home

if anyone has any suggestions i'd appreciate them, am feeling a little stressy about having to change everything around.

OMG! can't imagine having to change it all around at the last mo like that, you poor thing. I would suggest not doing Busch gardens straight away because you will still be suffering with jet lag, and while you may wake up early, you'll be fading fast and its a long way to drive back. Was worried about you not having enough rest days to break up the parks but can see that you need that many to get it all in.
What about a water park on the first day to ease you in? Or Seaworld is a nice one to get you going, and you might find you can see what you want in a long half day, so you can get a nap in before dinner, that jet lag is a nuisance.
BTW, might I suggest an MK day on saturday? then you could come and meet us on the Saturday night (see other thread). Whatever you decide, you will have a great time, just let it happen and don't feel like you have to rush everything but enjoy it too.

have you got tgm? he could advise you on quiet days in the park
not to give any games away but there is a dis meet on the sat in mk, so maybe think about that

You might want to Swap the Fri/Sat MK/AK to AK/MK if you're not staying in a Disney property as Saturday is Extra Magic Hour (1 hour earlier entry for Disney Property Guests) at Animal Kingdom. It's also the busiest day of the week at Animal Kingdom.

I also agree with the reply above about driving to and back from Busch Gardens on your first full day there - last time we cams back from Busch Gardens to Kissimmee it took 3 hours due to roadworks on the the I4 .
Hopefully the roadworks are finished now - any more info appreciated as we are going in 2 weeks and a trip to Busch Gardens is planned!

never had a problem with going bush gardens first day up with the birds,and dont think its a long drive back

Last october there were no roadworks on I4 and it is now mostly three lanes all the way .. we were parking up at BGs in less than an hour on our first trip.

I am not sure about going on your first day though as BGs is a large park and can be tiring imo that coupled with the jetlag maybe too soon .... though do not move your Bgs day to the Saturday as it will be crawling...
