Struggling with 1 last ADR choice!

I'm seriously struggling with one final ADR! I've flip flopped everywhere, and am driving myself crazy

In our 2 previous trips to WDW, we've only eaten at 2 TS places ('Ohana, and Sci Fi), the rest has all been CS, but this upcoming trip we will have FD and am hoping to choose some great places to make this trip extra-special.

We will be there for 8 nights, but will only have 5 park days - 2 days will be at Waterparks/Disney Quest. So far, I'm planning:

1. Raglan Road dinner
2. 'Ohana dinner (we *loved* it there last time!)
3. BOG dinner
4. Teppan Edo dinner
5. Crystal Palace breakfast (hoping to get an 8:05am)
6. Tusker House lunch
7. Boatwrights dinner (we will be at POFQ)
8. ???

What do you recommend for that last ADR?? What fabulousness seems to be missing from this list? Here is a bit about us: It will be me, DH, my mom and twin 10-year old boys. DH and the kids especially love steak/beef but are all pretty adventurous. My mom *loves* scallops. Are not interested in Italian as MIL is from Italy and is the best cook ever None of us have never ever done a character meal, and with 2 character buffets already, I think that might be enough buffet. We are rope-droppers, so not interested in breakfasts. We will also be relying on Disney Buses (although I'm not opposed to taking a taxi either) I've been flopping between Coral Reef, Captain's Grill, Saana, Kona, Mexico, Whispering Canyon Cafe, but am open to suggestions.

Please help!!! Give me your thoughts

Our best food on any trip was Kona, hands down.

That said, the kids enjoyed WCC.

Hows about 50's Primetime since you dont have anything in DHS or, on that same note, Boma or Yak and Yeti at AK

Two of the best times we have ever had at Disney restaurants are T-rex and the bar at Yak and Yeti. We are a family of 2, 50ish parents and a 23 yr old and we had a ball at T-Rex. The place seems crazy loud if you are standing in the front but we got a table near the back that was great. We were next to a baby dinosaur and it kept moving and entertained us the whole time. I remember the food as good but the dessert and the drinks were crazy decadent. I think mine had a pile of cotton candy in it and was poured by the wonderful friendly server. If it's booked up for an ADR don't worry. Just call the place direct.
We also were in AK one day and wanted to sit and relax. We didn't want to wait for a table so sat at the bar at Yak and Yeti and had wonderful conversations with the servers we also ate at the bar with no waiting. Of course it may not be appropriate for the kids but the place had a great atmosphere. Otherwise I think your reservations are awesome. Any place can be good if you keep the mood light and enjoy the company.

I'll second Prime Time Cafe. The food is good, but isn't really all that special, but the interaction and atmosphere more than make up for it.

If you don't get to DHS, then I think I'd recommend either Captain's Grille for dinner - lunch isn't as varied as it used to be; or a Whispering Canyon lunch.
I think Coral Reef is overpriced, and we never have eaten at Mexico, unless you want to count a beer and a child's burrito plate

Kona is nice, but at dinner it can get pretty crowded and the overflow area from the people waiting for Ohana does not add to the dining experience

If you don't mind another resort meal and dealing with the busses, have a look at the menu for Olivia's at OKW. They have a GREAT scallops dish. There are also several good beef options, plus prime rib after 5 pm.

Otherwise, consider Yak & Yeti TS in AK, or after a day at AK take the bus to AKL and try Boma. It is a non-character buffet with a lot of really interesting choices.

I will reiterate others and say Boma. I liked it better than Sanaa (but I did like Sanaa). Yak and Yeti was also good, but you already have Tusker House at Animal Kingdom, so I won't suggest it. Prime Time or Sci-Fi are fun if you are looking for something in DHS. And there are a lot of good ones in Epcot, if you wanted to eat there twice (I would add Via Napoli or Les Chefs de France - or Biergarden, though I haven't been there).

Thanks so much for the suggestions... A few things: I'm wondering if you think a third buffet would be "too much" as I've already got 2. Boma looks good, but so does Biergarten! And seeing as we will be at POFQ (and will likely get hoppers), going to Epcot a 2nd time would work as far as convenience to our resort.

I don't have any TS at Hollywood as like most people, nothing really appeals to any of us. We liked Sci Fi, but maybe I'm the only person out there who was creeped out by the movies? Haha! Also, we all had a look at the menus for 50's and nothing really appealed to us. We've never ventured to the boardwalk area, so I was considering choosing something around there when we were planning on going to DHS to check things out.

Arg! Why is this so hard!!!

I do not think a third buffet would be too much. I highly recommend Boma or Biergarten.

I really enjoy Boma and the AKL, I am a huge fan but if you want to stay at Epcot and not leave go for Biergarten.

Two of our favorites are Boma at AKL and Cape May at the BC. If you want something close to DHS, Cape May would be convenient as you can take the boat (or walk) from there to the BC. They are both buffets with a lot of variety (IMO) as well as nice atmospheres.

I would say Knoa for any meal or Boma for dinner. We loved all those.

Sanaa is my favorite restaurant at WDW. I love the food (I might dream about their butter chicken), and the decorations, and seeing the animals outside the windows, and the service has always been good.

I think Kona is another good choice, for breakfast or dinner (haven't tried lunch just because of not wanting to take time out of my day). Beaches and Cream is also good (it's my sister's favorite). The food is simple but tasty, the desserts are good, and all my friends I've taken there have enjoyed it. They don't do ADRs, which adds to a bit more flexibility.

Wow, tough one! You are going to have to plan another trip to try all these other suggestions!

We really love BOMA. And 50s Prime Time Cafe. And a lot of the others mentioned. Yak and Yeti is amongst my favorites.

That said, even though it sometimes gets mixed reviews, I really like Coral Reef a LOT. I saw it on your original list and thought I would give that idea some love. I think the boys would think it was cool (I personally LOVE the relaxing atmosphere), and I have had some absolutely delicious steaks and seafood there. I think it would round out your list nicely, so I will give that my vote.
