Strollers

I have a 5 yr old and am considering renting a multi-day stroller. Can anyone tell me how much it will be?
Thanks,
Kris

I just got my Maclauren Volo stroller in the mail TODAY!!! :Pinkbounc

My DS(5) weighs 53lbs and fits in it just fine. He loves it. Even my DD(8) got in it and thought it was comfy. She is 51 inches and 60 lbs. I really wasn't planning on buying another stroller but I got this one on ebay for 44.00. I am going to sell it to a friend of mine after WDW for 30.00. It is a great stroller for only 14.00. Actually, it is a great stroller for 44.00. Ithink TOYS R US sells it for 89-99.00 plus tax.

Anyway--I have used many cheapo strollers with my 3 kids and they have never held up to the kind of use/miles that we will put on it at WDW.

Good Luck with whatever you decide and have a great time at WDW :earsboy:

After MUCH research, including going to Target/Walmart and trying out the "less expensive" strollers, I decided on (...are you ready for the horror of this?) A MACLAREN QUEST! I love it! Yes, it was on the expensive side for us, however, we are expecting another child soon, so it'll get quite a few more years of use at home and at WDW... and this stroller was the most comfortable for both my DH and I, and my son. It was easy to push, was tall enough so I wasn't hunched over, I didn't kick the wheeles every time I tried to walk...it has a big enough basket for a few things...however... for US, though pricey, it was the best way to go.

I was able to get it for $129.99 including all taxes and shipping from www.albeebaby.com. I got a receipt via e-mail and it got to my house in about 1 week.

Do what works for YOU, and don't worry about what others think...if it works for YOU great..and if it happens to be more on the expensive side....so be it. (have you seen those strollers that cost like $700-800! Wowzers!) Just because you have a stroller that cost a bit more that other people may want to spend, that dosen't make you a show off, no matter what anyone thinks. It's a personal choice, do what works best for you.

I don't know how much Mcclaren strollers cost but if you don't need a stroller for anything other than WDW why not just rent one there. You can rent one for 10 days for $150.00. You won't have to worry about taking it on the bus or the monorail or into restraunts. If you park hop you can pick up another one at the next park for free on the same day.
