This is my first trip to DisneyWorld. We are leaving in 4 days!! We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge and I know you can rent strollers where you go - but I would like to take my own. Is this do able or is it just going to be hetic w/ it. Thanks!

You can rent, but I prefer my own. One its easier to find (I marked it with a bright yellow bandana so it would stand out in a sea of strollers), two, you might be thankful if when leaving the park your child is asleep and you have it, you have a long walk ahead and a huge crowd to get through (easier to keep track of child). The only thing-make sure its compact and lightweight, especially if you will be doing a lot of travel on the buses. You will have to collapse and lift a lot and if the bus is crowded, a big bulky stroller is no fun! We stayed at CR so buses werent really a huge issue.

I would defininiatly take your own stroller (unless your child is older and does not need naps). The rental strollers are nice but do not recline and are essentially hard plastic chairs with wheels. I think you will feel better knowing that your child is comfortable and it will be easier to pick your stroller out of the crowd if you bring your own. Also, the Disney strollers do not provide much in the way of storage. I hope you have a great trip.

I would highly recommend bringing your own stroller. We've done that on both of our trips, and it was much easier than waiting in the long line to rent the stroller. It is difficult at times to fold it and get it on the bus when it is crowded, but you get the hang of it.
