Strollers on train?

I read that strollers aren't allowed on the train. I'll have 2 umbrella type strollers that fold up pretty small, can you bring them on if they are folded up? Or just not at all?

The train at MK? We just folded (it is a full size) ours up and sat it next to us. If it was crowded, my DH held it on his lap. Nobody said anything to us. Good Luck!!

Sorry, yes I meant in MK. I guess they meant the full size rental strollers since they don't fold. That was what I thought, I just wanted to make sure since I didn't want to be leaving my stroller behind.

I think you'll be ok. large sized full strollers or double strollers may not fit.

I would have the kids out of the strollers and fold them up when you hear the whistle getting close. That way you won't be frantic getting on the train.

We took our dbl stroller on folded up, no problem. We even checked with the conductor in advance. He said sure with an attitude of "well, why wouldn't you?" So I guess it happens all the time.

That makes me wonder: what about wheelchairs? I plan on renting one for the duration of the trip for my dad. He can walk some, so we planned on folding it up when we go on buses and such so he doesn't have to take the time to be loaded.
Does that make sense to anyone but me?

I thought there was a certain car that had the last couple of rows out but still had the railings around it for wheelchairs. Its been a while but I remember them because Dh asked if he could put the stroller there and was told no that was for wheelchairs.
