Strollers at Poly Conceirge

We will be staying at the Poly Conceirge in August for 4 nights with our children ages 7, 5, and 2. I've read on these boards about the possibility of borrowing a stroller from the conceirge if it's available. For those of you who have done this, were you worried about what would happen if the stroller was stolen in the parks? I read you have to put a $250 deposit down and I think I would worry the whole time about it being stolen.

We used the stroller from the Poly concierge. It was such a nice perk. They were brand new jogging strollers--really easy to fold up. We did put down a deposit (they take your credit card #), but I don't remember how much it was. And I never worried about anybody taking it. The thought doesn't even cross my mind when I'm at WDW. I have left all sorts of "valuables" in my strollers over the years, and not once has anything been stolen.

If I remember, I think the concierge staff puts a tag with your last name on the stroller, and the strollers are different from any of the rentals in the parks. I don't believe anyone would think to steal a stroller--naive, maybe, but that's just my experience.

Have fun at the Poly concierge. It's our favorite--especially convenient with kids. Nine more months until our return!

We are also going to the Poly concierge in August .

Since we are driving we will be bringing our own stroller, however, may I suggest bringing a lock with you? You can lock the Poly stroller each time you park it. It may make you feel a little more secure.

We started locking our strollers at all parks and zoos after we witnessed someone get their stroller stolen at the Minnesota Zoo. Our stroller was parked in the same group as theirs and it could have easily been ours that was taken instead. Since then, we always bring a lock.
