Strollers at Disney World

Oh that would have been so nice of you but we don't arrive until the 28th...thank you

Any chance you're both staying at the same resort? You could leave the stroller with bell services with the name & arrival date of the next guest. I know there is a thread on here about doing that with a mini fridge at the values.

FWIW--we rent a Disney stroller for our DD. She's 8 and still fits in them. We take a towel for her to sit on (adds a little cushion to the hard seat.) We just find it makes it easier for us to be on the go. We do a length of stay rental. Saves a few dollars. Just keep track of your ticket and you can get a stroller each day at any park. Also VERY important to use something (other than the name tag Disney provides) to identify your stoller. CM can move them + when you come out of an attraction to a parking lot of strollers, it makes it MUCH easier to find your stroller. :thumbsup2

Actually if I were to use a stroller there again I would use the park strollers, they are GREAT. The kids were comfortable and it was the easiest stroller to push.

Are there any rentals available for 3? I'm thinking more along the lines of a double with a standing area at the back? My 2 youngest are 5 and 3 and I was thinking my 8 year old could hitch a ride on the back at times.

hi there, just thought id throw in that me and my son who is 5 just got back from wdw and he didnt wanna get in the stroller at all. he was a trooper the whole time sometimes out walking me!! lol,but we took alot of breaks i even asked him if he wanted to go back to the resort and rest but not one time did he wanna miss anything.....the heat is pretty intense so have some snackin your BP,i had
h20,beef jerky, and other EZ stuff to pack.....hope you have a great time..

however the stroller would also be great for anything youd have to carry such as cam bag and other stuff you could put in the storage compartment

I have a double made by babies r us that reclines and is comfy. they make a single too for i think $30-40. I paid $70 for my double and my girls love it. I'm just trying to decide if two singles would be better at WDW?? DDs will be almost 5y (2 1/2 months after we get back) and 2y (2 weeks after we get back) They both still ride in a stroller at the zoo and on walks.

We purchased an INstep jogging stroller from Academy Sports for $109.99. In fact, at our local store I purchased the floor model because that's all they had available so we got it for 10% off. They're available online as well. It's pretty light for a stroller, holds more than your standard stroller weight, and fits bigger kids better (height wise). It's also a lot more reasonable in price than many we compared. We're very pleased with ours.

When we took my kids the first time, 3 years ago, I bought MacClaren's for the sole purpose of Disney (they were too old to ever really use a stroller at home but I knew they would need one in the parks). We loved them. I am 5'2 and my hubby is 6'4 and we both had no problems pushing them. My kiddos are lightweights but taller... my oldest was 7 and still fit with no problems:) It has a nice storage basket underneath, folds easily, and is lightweight with a sunshade.
