Strollering Along At The World (Finally!)- A PTR (Feb '12)*TR Started 2/12*

Yeah for Wilderness Lodge!! We stayed there once and had a great time. It is such a beautiful resort

Aww well thank you. It will be another couple of years before we do IUI again but we are TTC naturally until then. That's awesome that you got your bfp the cycle before ya'll decided to give up! How awesome :goodvibes How long did you TTC?

From the time that we decided we wanted another child until the time she was born was about 5 years (roughly) I know at one point, I could have told you how many cycles... but I am past that now. People always think that my dd was an accident since my first kids (who I didn't have any trouble conceiving) were roughly 15, 12 and 10 when she was born. I just have to tell them she took longer getting to us. ;)

When we started telling everyone I was pregnant they all said "really?!?" and most assumed it was a surprise. The truth is that although I had no trouble getting pregnant with my first (she was a "surprise") it took a long long time for this one. To the point where we didn't think it was even possible. By the time this baby is born DD will be 14 and DSS will be 17... talk about age differences!

DS#2 was a surprise. After ds#1 was born I was diagnosised with PCOS. I basically had not ovulated in almost 5 years and the doctor decided it was time to have a hystrorectmy that fall...I asked him if it was okay to wait until Spring (giving myself a long summer to heal before going back to school in the fall)...sure no problem, guess what....a few months later I ovulated out of the blue...not sure who was more  the doctor or me. He kept telling me when I called to get THE OFFICIAL TEST done that it was not possible...God truly has a sense of humor to give me this little guy! I had it so easy with the first 2...too easy!:rotfl2:

Joining in (late as usual) It's been so long since I've interacted with you, Congratulations on your miracle baby! He is adorable.

Woot!!!

How did you like the boat from the resort to MK? I have a feeling we'll be doing this a LOT!!! That's one of the reasons we picked WL.

Well that's just awesome that you finally got pregnant! Sucks that it took so long but there's a reason for everything. At least with the older kids now I'm sure they give you a lot of help :)

awww well I think that's wonderful. It sucks TTC for so long. But I'm sure the older kiddos will be a great help. :goodvibes

Wow now that truly is a miracle!!! How wonderful! I love hearing stories like that. I wish we HAD a story like that. I'm hoping that happens for us with bby #2 a natural miracle but I have a feeling we are going to have to have another IUI to get pregnant.

Glad you came by and thanks for joining!!

Aww thanks! I am actually giddy just planning this trip and I haven't been giddy to go to disney in a long time. This is a trip for pure enjoyment and celebration unlike most of our other trips. Our other trips were consolation prizes for not being able to get pregnant. Now we can just go and enjoy celebrating our little miracle :goodvibes

Thanks so much! I use a Canon Rebel XTi. It was a little intimidating at first but now it's fun. I love having a DSLR.

Here's some more pictures of Alex.

These are the result of a little camera playing around earlier last week.

He is so cute

Love the pics of babies together :)

Okay ladies and....well, I don't think I have any gents here so just ladies for now. I have made my first purchase for this trip. :woohoo::woohoo: SHOES!!! :woohoo::woohoo: I LOVE shoes!!! Now, I will wear these before the trip since I need comfortable shoes now (my feet just haven't been the same since being pregnant and I need more comfortable shoes!) but they are mainly to go on this trip in. I need comfortable shoes to keep up with my little guy at the world. I also got Chris a new pair of sandals seeing as how he's had his for 4 years now and the soul is worn down.

I got a pair of Keds for me (you know you're old when you get excited about buying shoes that you don't have to tie )

A pair of Teva sandals for Chris (pretty much a replacement for what he has now, the man is SO picky about what he puts on his feet)

And a pair of Teva sandals for me (I figure if Chris loves them so much they have to be great seeing as how picky he is about shoes)

I'm excited and can't wait to get them from Zappos :goodvibes

haha Alex keeps trying to get the attention of the other baby by holding hands. So cute!

He looks so tiny in that big ole highchair in the pic of you and him! LOL

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! My favorite it the close up with his hands in his mouth! Beautiful!

The sandals I think need some breaking in but they're not bad. Now the keds are ultra comfy! Love them!

Thank you! Yeah baby toes are so cute! :cutie:

Well I said I would post and let you all know when I found out the sex of the baby and...

It's a girl :lovestruc

I had really come to think that this one was a boy. But nope. In any case, the baby looks perfectly healthy and is growing as expected so we are very happy.
