What do you think is the best choice of stroller for Disney? Should I take my nice jogging (but bulky) stroller or my cheap little umbrella stroller? Or do I rent one daily?

How old is your little one, and when are you going?

First of all, I wouldn't bring the jogging stroller if you'll be using Disney buses/transportation unless it folds up pretty small. The umbrella stroller might work if your child is old enough to not need naps (since they don't usually recline). The other consideration is the sun - does the umbrella stroller have good shade? If not, I'd recommend leaving that home, too.

What I'm doing is renting a stroller from an off-site vendor (Orlando Stroller Rentals is the one I like, and a sponsor for this site). They have City Minis, which are really nice - and they deliver them to your hotel, so you'll have them for your whole vacation (instead of renting the Disney parks strollers, which you can only use IN the parks.)

I would second something like a city mini. Easy to transport, reclines for naps, good sunshade. We are renting a double from kingdom strollers for the second time. I hate bringing big strollers on the plane. It's under $100 for the week, and the singles even cheaper.

If your child still requires naps I would avoid renting the Disney strollers. While they are very easy to push they do not recline and I have found them to be awkward since you cannot adjust the canopy. When my daughter outgrew her stroller we purchased a jogging stroller. We took it to Disney with us 5 times. I was so happy we had it instead of an umbrella stroller. We were able to bring a small cooler since we had a storage compartment under the stroller and it was wonderful to have the cup holders. Also being able to recline the seat and having a good shade canopy were wonderful. I know jogging strollers are not ideal on the buses, but we were willing to make the sacrifice to make my daughter more comfortable and our day less stressful. My husband would just stand with the stroller near the back exit of the bus.

This might be a silly question but did you write your name in your stroller anywhere? Or use any other identification as it being yours? If I bring my
Jogging stroller im a little weary about leaving it while on rides and attractions.

I am a local, one of my biggest pieces of advise would be to leave a nice stroller at home. It is unfortunate but they get stolen often. I would either rent when you arrive here, or bring the umbrella stroller . When we go we always bring the umbrella stroller to the parks...and never leave anything in it (except maybe a bottle of water) when riding a ride. You could put your name in it, some people also tie a colored ribbon in the handle so of is easier to find in the stroller parking. I hope this helps...have a safe and fun trip!

I would advise a more advanced umbrella stroller. There are several brands that are cheaper or as cheap as renting one. I have a britax blink, but they don't even make it any more. Summer brand makes a nice one with a full recline. I think jeep makes a decent cheap one as well.

We have a jogging stroller for our little one. I loved it because I was able to bring his diaper bag and a small cooler for us and just put them in the bottom compartment. It also reclined and has a visor. It's a little bulky when traveling. It takes a lot of room up on the monorail and we don't do buses with it. Luckily we stay in the contemporary so our main transportation is the monorail

We didn't think we would need a stroller one trip but I found I needed to lean on, dgs did fall asleep, I could put jackets and small cooler in it.

So just before we entered the park we bought the Red and black stroller. It had a lot of nice things about it, reclining, shade, I think a holder, storage.
It went that trip and the next 4. I added a rain top, and shade extender for the June trip.

Our McLearen stayed home. Another year we took it through the airport, but rented the jogger stroller while onsite.

We didn't put any identification on ours (probably should have thought of this though) except for a very bright lime green thick ribbon which really help us to locate our stroller quickly.

We've rented from magic strollers once and kingdom strollers 3 times and they're great! :thumbsup2
