Need help from more experienced members. Would you take a stroller for a 4 year old? Maybe you've done so?

We are taking one for my baby but we are attaching a buggy board. If we only had our soon to be 4 year old with us , wed still take one for us!
You can hire them but they are no good for sleeping.

DS1 is 7, so he doesn't need one. Last year I did take a stroller and it was very useful. I'm thinking it would be very useful for me this year too, but maybe DS2 is too big for a stroller? We don't use stroller here since he was 2,5.

We didn't last year and regretted it. We did a fairly hectic 2 night trip though and tried to squeeze too much in. On a longer trip where you can take things slower maybe not.

I would definitely take it if I was you, or hire one. It's so handy to hang bags and coats on, and if ethier of the boys get tired they can take turns. Our pushchair has been a godsend at disney

If you can I definitely would. We haven't used a pushchair at home since DS was about 3 but if I could take one for my 5 year old in December then I would. I'll be the only adult this time though and we're travelling via Gare du Nord so I think it will more trouble than it's worth. I may hire one though.

Thanks for replies. Will call a friend and ask if she'll let me use hers. We even haven't got one.

Another vote for definitely taking one. I am taking one for my 5yo and frankly even the 9yo would like to go in it at times! It's just non-stop walking and most people seem to agree that children need a buggy at DLP even if they've been out of them for some time at home. They are also good for carrying stuff around in the basket underneath - it's much easier to push a buggy than to carry bags all day! They are also very useful for the parades - people can't push a child aside if they're in a buggy and in winter it's very cold sitting on the pavement for an hour whilst you wait for the parade to start.

We're taking one for the 6m old, we're hiring one for our 3yr old, he hasn't used a pram for about 6 months but I feel like i need a pram at Disney sometimes so he definitely will

We got back last week, and took two - one for the 4 year old, and one for the 6 year old! Both have been done with strollers since they were 2, and we only own one, which is kept in the boot of the car at all times. We bought a cheap one before we went, because it worked out cheaper than renting one for our 5 days. I'm glad we had them, even for the 6 year old because we did such a lot of walking, and a lot of it in the rain.

lol im the minority - we have never done disney with a stroller/pushchair!!!!

we first went when ds2 was 2 1/2 and he walked/ran everywhere, but then he is autistic and has excess energy lol ds1 was 4 1/2 when first went and he too managed fine, but then, we do alot of walking here at home, so i guess they were used to it lol
