stroller/wheelchair and ride vehicles/wait times

My question is this - if we use our stroller as a wheelchair and use it in the ride lines can we still board where everyone else does or do we have to then wait for one of the few vehicles that accommodates wheelchairs - such as Kilimanjaro Safari?
My daughter can walk short distances and we can load her in ride vehicles but she needs the stroller for line waits. I have heard that waits for wheelchair riders can be longer since there are fewer vehicles and we don't want or need that - just in the line. Make sense? Thanks.

Because she is not in a real wheelchair (that can be locked in place) i would expect they will want you to transfer into a regular vehicle, we have taken the kids to both disneys a few times in a stroller tagged as a wheelchair and the only ride i can remember them asking if i would like the kids to say in there seats was the Disneyland Train.

Using a stroller-as-wheelchair will not require you to use a wheelchair accessible ride vehicle. In fact, if she is able to transfer into a standard vehicle that is preferred. However, whether or not you are directed differently in the queue will depend on whether there are obstacles in the queue and the availability of space to park your stroller while you ride. You may be directed to load at the unload (like Buzz Lightyear). You may need to be directed to a different access to avoid stairs (like Splash). Whether or not these alternatives end up with a longer line may depend on how many other guests using a mobility device are there at the same time as you. If you are in the accessible queue, you will wait behind some who can transfer and some who need the special vehicle.

You specifically ask about Kilimanjaro Safari, we've never been allowed to take a stroller all the way to the regular loading; we either had to park it and walk the rest of the line, or branch off into the accessible queue. My DD is able to manage the line from that point, so we park the stroller.

when we went on KS with stroller as wheelchair we did have to use special truck even when we transferred as that was where they parked wheelchairs. if you can park with other strollers and walk most of line you should be able to use regular truck. you also have to walk back to stroller after ride if parked in stroller parking
