stroller weight capacity ?????

[OUR 1ST DISNEY TRIP]

was wondering if anyone knew of a stroller that would carry at 75lb child. do any strollers handle that weight capacity?

The Maclaren Major (a special needs stroller) or most jogger-style strollers.

If you are thinking of one just for the trip, DD8 was 75# last year on our trip and shared a double rental with DD5 with no problem. The joggers at MGM are the best, the molded plastic ones at the other parks are much more crowded, they can't really sit in them properly, but one kid sat on the seat and the other sat in the footrest area. The strollers were easy to push, even with both kids in them.

I rented a double stroller for my 5 and 7 year old children last year at WDW. Their combined weight is about 75 pounds. If your planning on renting a stroller for an older child, I'm not sure if the single strollers will hold an older child that size. You may just want to go ahead and get a double.
