Stroller tip

We were in WDW plus SeaWorld in October. We had a young one along, so rented a stroller sometimes.

Two tips:

Even though the strollers have a name tag that you put on the back, it can still get hard to find your stroller in some of the areas where there are many of them parked.

I took along a red bandanna, and tied it to the stroller handle. It made it easy and quick to find our stroller (after the cast member rearranged them in our absence).

Second tip, pay for more than one day the first time, and then on following days you can go right to the stroller pick up without standing in line to pay.

The last few times we have taken an umbrella stroller which worked great. This time we will not be taking one since our youngest doesn't fit well in them. We may need to get them a couple of days for long days and big parks like Epcot. How do you pay in advance for the stroller - ie your tip 2?

I have considered starting the day without a stroller and getting one after the entering crowds die down a little. If I can pay for one ahead of time that would also work.

This is a great tip for rental cars also. Put some sort of ribbon on the antenna of your car - makes it easier to find.

Enjoy your vacation!

Oooh, great tips for stroller and car! I am always losing track in parking lots, now we can hopefully stand out from the sea of minivans! Thank you!:lovestruc

Won't help with the stroller, but it's become tradition for us to buy a disney antenna topper on the first day of every trip- makes the rental minivan so much easier to find in a sea of white minivans!

When you first rent the stroller you can tell them you want it for X amount of days. It's cheaper to do it that way too compared to renting one every day. I rented a double stroller for 4 days, and all 3 of my kids fit in it at the same time....my 9 year old even got tired of walking after awhile and sat in it!

I've never rented a stroller at Disney. Do I just walk up and show a CM the receipt?

We're taking our own stroller...it's full size in height, but folds down as small as an umbrella. We LOVE it. And since we'll be trekking through airports (leaving and coming home), as well as relying on Disney transport to and from parks, it makes it that much easier on us and our 1 year old son.

We'll also be purchasing an additional stroller umbrella from a company here in CO so he's more shaded and so we can tell the stroller apart from others. :D
