Stroller suggestions. Tips for large families?

I've been worried about the airport BUT, I could wear the baby in a sling, and bring my Maclaren Volo for my toddler. My older 4 boys are very helpful and I'm sure could manage rolling a carry on suitcase through the airport.

Second, go check out the DISabilities board asap! You'll find many other MAW families there and they can help you out with planning.

Is your son up for all the walking involved or will he need a scooter?

Just a heads up that the parks and most of the companies renting mobility scooters (ECVs) will not rent them for a child to use.
Driving one in the parks, especially if it is busy, can be mentally tiring. You have to watch where you are going and watch for people who step out in front of you, plus watch for environmental hazards, like curbs.

With regards to strollers - I would probably bring the mac single and sling for travel and rent a nicer double from Orlando Stroller Rentals. The tandem Graco can be very heavy and combersome to push around while the citi-mini strollers are a breeze (still big, but very easy to push/steer).

You will find that you can do MANY rides - your infant and 11 year old will have to pass on some of the larger rides (Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, Mission Space maybe?, Everest, Star Tours, Rock N Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror), but will be able to still go on SOO many things!! Buzz Lightyear, Toy Story Mania, Tomorrowland Speedway, everything in fantasy land, Pirates of the Caribbean, Nemo, the list goes on and on!

If you can schedule in the Lights! Motors! Action! show at Disney Hollywood Studios, I would highly recommend it! It will keep your entire clan entertained!!
