Stroller: Single or Double

Not sure if this is where I should ask this, but here goes.

I have a dd 4 and dd 18 mos., that we will be making a trip to WDW this Dec. staying at WL. I am looking to buy a new stroller for the trip, a lighter weight one and less bulky one than I already have. My question is this: should I get a single or double? I'm sure dd4 will get tired, but should I just rent her a stroller when this happens or just buy a double? Thanks for your opinions.

considering the rental costs, I would go for the double purchase.

Last year we rented a double stroller for our girls ages 4 and 5. This year I bought a Schwinn double umbrella stroller. We'll be there for 11 days and it cost $16 a day to rent. The stroller I bought was only $100 and I figure we'll still use it next year. Plus it has storage baskets underneath which the rental don't have.

I would definitely go with the double. My DD's are the same age, and we are bringing our double when we go ....I was getting ready to say July, but hey it's already July .... next week.

I asked this same question on the Families board and the overwhelming answer I got was bring your double. My 4 year old likes to walk alot, but I know at the times when Dh and I are both worn out she will be to.

Also DisneyMomx7 made a good point about costs. By the time you get done paying for a rental for DD4 you'll have bought and paid for one of your own. This way if you return or take other trips to the zoo, amusement parks, etc... you already have a double.
